BBC

The British Broadcasting Corporation, or BBC is the English television network headquartered in the BBC Television Centre in London, it is also the largest worldwide broadcasting company in the world.

About

The origional British Broadcasting Company was founded in 1922 as a radio communication company. As television revolutionized the world, BBC began to broadcast television programmes. BBC began airing Heroes on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 9:00 p.m on BBC2, it then shows Heroes Unmasked afterwards at 9:45 for quarter of an hour, and then shows another episode on BB3 at 10:00. There is also a radio programme on BBC7 radio called Heroes - The Official Radio Show with Jon Holmes, every Saturday at 7:30, on this they discuss whats been going on in the show in the UK and listeners send in their theories.

Notes

  • The BBC has bought the rights to show the second series of Heroes in 2008 after the first series ends.
  • During its time on the BBC the average amount of viewers has been 4.1 million.
  • Heroes first premiered in the UK on Sci-Fi UK, but the average amount of viewers were much less at only 450,000 viewers.
