Jessica's ability is the ability to get abilities, depending on the death your former self has. It is un-known if a bi-product of this is multiple personality disorder, but it could be.

Jessica Sanders
Jessica was born an evolved human, but without any abilities as it was her "first life". Jessica Sanders was revealed to have died becasue he dad was abusing her. She died because she was not strong enought to fight back, therefore, Niki Sanders was give the power of Enhanced strength.
Niki Sanders
Niki Sanders had enhanced strength. She died in a fiery explosion. She died because she could not protect herself from fire, therefore, Tracy Strauss was give the power of freezing, because she could have used it to protect her from the fire.
Tracy Strauss
Tracy Strauss had freezing. She died because when she was in her ice "form" she could not come out of it, and therefore was shot. Therefore, the Unknown Triplet was given an ability similar to water mimicry so she could transform in and out of water.
