The Lonestar File is a paper file found in the Pentagon.

Graphic Novel:War Buddies, Part 1
Mr. Bennet sends Hana Gitelman an email telling her to retrieve the file, as it will put her "on the right path". Hana searches for the file, but is temporarily frustrated when she learns she cannot use her power to get the file, since it's stored in paper format. She goes to the Pentagon and finds the file in the top secret archives.

Hana reads the file; it is written by Dallas and tells the tale of a fateful day in November, 1968. Three soldiers were shot and killed on the Mekong River Delta during the Vietnam War. Dallas, too was shot, but was healed by another soldier.

Hana continues to read the file. Following the informant's lead, Austin and Dallas finally find the downed plane, but the pilots are already dead. When Dallas call him a freak, Austin recounts how he first used his powers to heal his mother and how they treated him like a freak.
