Astral projection is the ability to mental project one's mind and spirit to a distant location and time.

When Peter Petrelli was eight years old, Charles revealed his power to him, saying he could use it to anywhere in the world. Charles is able to astrally project himself into the future, or might have left his astral body in the real world after his death, as he visited Peter after his bodily passing.

Notes
- The canon Charles Deveaux has the ability of telepathy, and astral projection may be an outgrowth of that ability.
