• Hana's grandmother fights the Nazis with the resistance, is captured, and is brought to Auschwitz. On the way, she attacks one of her guards.

August 6, 1945

• Hiro's grandfather survives the atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima, Japan. He probably dies as a direct result of radiation received on that day, as Hiro goes to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial to talk to his grandfather.

1962

• Primatech Paper Co. opens.

August 6, 1962

• Mr. Bennet is born (Distractions).

June 5-10, 1967

• Zahava fights in the IDF.

November, 1968

November 8, 1968

• Dallas and his crew set out on the Mekong River Delta in Vietnam to recover a downed A4 Skyhawk. (War Buddies, Part 2)

November 15, 1968

• Dallas is shot, but healed by Austin. Amarillo, Loredo, and San Antonio are shot and killed. (War Buddies, Part 2)

November 20, 1968

• Dallas and Austin find the downed A4 Skyhawk, its crew killed. Wanting to continue the mission, Dallas suggests using the plane's munitions to complete the mission of destroying the village of Au Co, Vietnam. (War Buddies, Part 3)

• Later in the day, they witness Au Co cause large vegetables to grow from the ground. They invade the town, set off explosives, and destroy the village. In the process, they kill many villagers, including Au Co . (War Buddies, Parts 4 and 5)

• At 2 a.m., Claude and Mr. Bennet enter an apartment building which explodes. They rescue a young Claire from the building. (Hell's Angel)
• The Odessa Register (February 28th edition) reports that the Odessa fire takes place this day. It is reported that 7 people are killed, including Meredith Gordon and her 18-month-old daughter. (The Fix)
• Soon thereafter, Mr. Bennet meets Kaito on a rooftop location and receives Claire. (Company Man)

1993

• Activating Evolution by Chandra Suresh is first published. (activatingevolution.org)
  • (approx.) Mohinder reads a copy of the book and is chastised by his father.

1995

• Matt begins directing traffic for the L.A.P.D.. (Six Months Ago)

1997

• Hana goes to enlist in the IDF at Beer Sheva, Israel. She instead works for the Mossad, and Mr. Bennet contacts her sometime thereafter.

1999

• Gabriel Gray begins working on the Sylar watch. (Six Months Ago)
• Mr. Bennet shoots Claude on the bridge; Claude disappears. (Company Man)
• Sarah Ellis lives in an abusive household. She learns she has the power of persuasion by telling her stepmother to die, and she does. Starting her life over, she renames herself Eden. (Life Before Eden)

2001

• Hana trains at the Mossad Training Center in Israel. (War Buddies, Part 1)

2003

• Mr. Bennet informs Claire that she was adopted. After being told this, Claire helps him pick out the horn-rimmed glasses which he will begin to wear. (Company Man)

• Charlie's birthday party takes place in Midland, TX. Hiro arrives from the future. He gets a job as a busboy at the Burnt Toast Diner, and proceeds to spend several months convincing Charlie that he can time travel. (Six Months Ago)

• Chandra Suresh travels to the USA.
  • Begins tracking down evolved humans using the list.
  • Meets Gabriel Gray, who later becomes Sylar.
• Eden is nearly arrested by officer Matt in Los Angeles, CA for stealing a car. She is captured by The Haitian and is brought to Mr. Bennet, where she agrees to use her powers to investigate Chandra Suresh in New York, NY.
• Peter graduates from nursing school.
  • Heidi Petrelli is paralyzed in a car accident after the party.
• Niki Sanders meets her father Hal, and her alter-ego Jessica makes her first appearance.
• Claire first discovers she has regeneration powers after an accident.
• Jessica robs a sports book of $2 million, kills D.L.'s crew, and launders the money.

• Isaac Mendez learns he has a gift of painting the future, when he inadvertently paints the death of a guest at a gallery showing. (Isaac's First Time)

• Hana meets Mr. Bennet for the first time. (Wireless, Part 4)

• Hana first notices that she can sense wireless signals. (Wireless, Part 4)

September 10-12, 2006

• Isaac Mendez paints a burning bus. Three weeks later, he will learn of a suicide attack in Israel.

• Just as Hiro is about to take Charlie to a film festival, Hiro's power throws him forward to the present. (Six Months Ago)
