Eh. Doesn't convince me. Heroe 20:42, 20 March 2007 (EDT)

  • Long explanation, this file was transcoded from a digital HD signal six times. The original showed it better, but it could have been an audio artifact in the original that was filtered out during transcoding. I listened to the original and repeatedly on my friends PVR after the first transcode and it was clearly "is a" even if it is not what he meant to say.

I would have taken it as either a misspoken line, something the actor playing HRG tends not to do, or the audio artifact if it were not that the production team who had to come up with a term other than "Heroes" to describe those with abilities. They have used the term "Specials" in interviews and according to cast it is also used on set.

Use of the term Specials is a bit of a loaded gun because one of the graphic periodical (comic book) series that has many archetypal main characters in common with Heroes, along with an eclipse as a main focus.--WolvenSpectre 22:37, 20 March 2007 (EDT)

        • OK, I'M NOT GOING THROUGH THIS AGAIN!

I went through this in detail in the talk page for The algorithm. This file is the best I could do. Each of the 6 transcodings degraded its quality and I had to edit for noise before it was posted. How much you can hear also depends on your player/CODEC software. some you can SLIGHTLY hear it, some it is inaudible (WMP is the worst). It was the best I can do.

I cannot get at some of the interviews. I think 2 were on the official show site, and they are not connecting to me right now. I don't know where most of them are because I didn't think to bookmark everyone I have read. I know one was in an entertainment section of a magazine.

All I was doing was putting a BRIEF version of my side explaining why it doesn't come through well on the file I uploaded.

IF IT IS THAT BIG OF A PROBLEM DELETE THE BLOODY THING.

If I can't track down the interviews this will be my LAST comment on the subject!--WolvenSpectre 01:30, 21 March 2007 (EDT)
