Theory Citations Notes
Isaac paints in a fugue state and is not aware of the content of his paintings while creating them. None. + Isaac paints Peter's location but is not aware until afterwards that Peter was invisible. (Distractions) He appears to need to study his paintings afterwards in order to derive meaning from them, as he needs to notice Peter's footprints to find him.
- Isaac says that he remembered the explosion while experiencing his vision -- "There was a bright light like an explosion. It wiped out the whole city like Hiroshima."
- After his experience with Uluru during a trance, Isaac suddenly returns to a normal state and appears to be in a state of shock.
A painting shows what would happen if the painting were not created. None. + When a painting does not come true, its existence is usually responsible.
:+ If the painting of Peter dead on the Union Wells high school hadn't been painted he would have never gone there.
The series of eight paintings Noah Bennet discusses in Lizards show the deaths of eight of the nine remaining members of the Group of Twelve. The ninth remaining member is the one responsible for the death threats.

The ninth member isn't necessarily the hooded killer. The hooded killer may be a subordinate, a manifestation of the ninth member's power, or someone with close ties to the ninth member.
- It's also possible that the hooded killer is working on behalf of one of the already-dead members, and the ninth painting is either missing or one member is not considered a target.
- We also know that the last painting actually shows Noah's death, and he isn't a Company Founder. (Kindred)

The series of eight paintings don't just correlate to deaths of The Company's Group of Twelve, but to a string of company-related deaths in the near future; starting with Kaito Nakamura and ending with Mr. Bennet. None. + Kaito Nakamura's death was illustrated in the first of the series (and he was also the first to die amongst them). he mentioned that there are still 9 people still alive from the "Twelve Elders" who founded The Company.

+ The deaths/paintings could be related to the pictures with The Symbol on Members' faces. Perhaps Angela Petrelli's painting will emerge in episodes to come.
+ HRG was also depicted in these pictures so they cannot be paintings of the 12 elders.

The series of eight paintings was not completed before Isaac Mendez was murdered by Sylar. Perhaps Sylar or Peter Petrelli must finish the set. None.
