After Linderman heals a deer, Linda scribbles something in her notebook and says that what Linderman did is amazing. Later, Linda attacks, is incapacitated, and Linderman takes her notbook. He reads his own name, his location, and his ability. He leaves the camp, studying another name in the notebook: "Arthur Petrelli, New York City, NY".

Trivia
- When War Buddies, Part 7 was first released, there was a glitch with the novel, and the printing on Linda's notebook ran off the page into thin air. This mistake was fixed a few hours after the novel was released.
