Mr. Dougherty was the pilot of the ill-fated Flight 195 that transported captured evolved humans. He later went on to work for the Lamarck Project as a mercenary.
Character History
A Clear and Present Danger
When Claire storms into the aircraft's cockpit, she threatens the pilot with a tranquilizer and instructs him to turn the plane around. Noah Bennet, in the co-pilot's chair, turns around and throws her off-guard. When Peter accidentally blows open a hole in the side of the plane using his newly-acquired freezing ability, the pilot issues several mayday broadcasts and struggles to maintain control as the plane falls to earth.
