Samir Mellouk is an evolved human with the power of phasing.

Sami enlists the help of Daphne to steal him "stuff" from museums, so he can sell it to the country it originally came from, Morocco. She duly does so in no time at all, before heading to the Louvre and spotting the Mona Lisa. She asks Samir for his help in stealing the painting, and he holds on to her arm as she uses her ability to enter the Louvre and switch the Mona Lisa with a fake. After taking the painting, Daphne asks Samir if he wants a lift home, but he declines, saying he'll walk instead. Walking down an alleyway, he is met by "Julien" and Sabine, who say they've been watching him and he should go with them. To escape, he phases through the floor, and Sabine remarks that they thought he had enhanced speed, not phasing. Julien catches up with him, and Samir phases through his body, but another Julien clone hits Samir hard in the face, breaking one of his teeth. Samir kneels on the floor in pain, surrounded by Sabine and many Julien clones.
