Character History
Strange Attractors
The sheriff of Cainan arrests Jeremy Greer after Noah notifies the local authorities that Jeremy's parents are dead. Despite the fact they Noah has made it appear they died from carbon monoxide poisoning due to a defective heater, the sheriff believes something more is going on and holds Jeremy in jail based on Jeremy's reputation of strange behavior. Noah and Tracy eventually arrange Jeremy's release but the teenager kills a man as he's escorted out of the police station. Later, the sheriff discovers that Deputy Gill has taken Jeremy out of his cell, but is apparently unaware of what Gill intended. His reaction when Jeremy is found dead, or what he did with Gill given the deputy's obvious involvement in the boy's death, is not known. Later, Samuel destroys the station building during business hours and the sheriff is presumed dead.
