Physical Mimicry is an as-yet not fully understood ability acquired by Peter after he injected himself with the genetic modification formula.
Initially, it granted him flight from his brother when he rescued him from the burning Pinehearst building. But he was shown to mimic Mohinder's Ability and Freezing.

Limits

Initial Limits
By injecting himself with a genetic modification formula, Peter acquired an abstract version of his empathic mimicry which allows him to duplicate the abilities of other evolved humans simply by touching them, it is unsure and unconfirmed if touching them has to be done by skin. He first demonstrated the ability when he rescued his brother Nathan from Pinehearst which was speculated to be his original ability however in (A Clear and Present Danger) he was shown to mimic Mohinder's Ability by touching him and then with Tracy Strauss and her power.
He has been shown to have one current limit which is that he has to mimic the power by physically touching the person and that he can only control one power at a time.
