About
Four Months Later...
In New York, Ando bumps into a bearded Nathan, who is on his way home. He finds Angela there, and they argue, with Angela calling Nathan a drunk. Nathan angrily sends her out.
Later, Claire calls Nathan while he is in a bar. He tells her that he can't help her, and hangs up. When he looks in the mirror, he sees a horribly scarred, beardless version of himself.
Lizards
Nathan goes to collect his mother from police custody, where he meets Matt. Suddenly, they both hear Angela screaming, and rush to her aid. They find her bloodied and frightened.
The Kindness of Strangers
Nathan visits his sons, Simon and Monty, at their school. They comment on his beard, and say that he should shave it. A concerned teacher comes along and says that Nathan should leave.
Nathan later visits his mother in hopsital without his beard. She remarks that he may be clean shaven, but that does not mean he is sober.
