The morning after escaping Building 26, Rachel Mills forces a helicopter pilot to land in a large field of brown weeds near a mountain range. Eric Doyle and Gordon Hovey, who escaped with Rachel, are also on board. After tying up the pilot and leaving him sitting outside near the back of the helicopter, Rachel and Eric walk away from the helicopter and talk while Gordon prays. Eric then walks back to Gordon, while Rachel stands faced toward the east. The three of them then watch as the sun begins peeking out from the clouds that line the horizon.

The Agent
In chapter 10 of The Agent, Rachel Mills forces a helicopter pilot to land in a dew-covered field at sunrise. The helicopter, which is also carrying Eric Doyle and Gordon Hovey, quickly becomes silent, and they tie up the pilot and exit the aircraft. Eric and Rachel then go for a walk together and talk while Gordon says some prayers. A short while later, Rachel communicates with Rebel via text message. Then, she races back to the helicopter, shouting for Gordon to untie the pilot.
