+ It seems odd that a swordsmith would be capable of creating guns, especially in a country which forbade them within it's boundaries. It would make sense if he was capable of intuitively making any weapon.

+ Honestly, what are the odds that a drunk Englishman would know to go with the name Sword Saint? It is more likely for the swordsmith to have taught him that name, and he probably also is responsible for Kensei's crest (the helix).
- - Adam may have heard "Kensei" from other sailors who could've visited Japan before and picked up a few words.
