Niki brings Micah to stay with Nana in New Orleans. Niki knocks on her door, and Nana welcomes the two to New Orleans.
The Kindness of Strangers
Nana chastises Damon for bullying Micah and for wanting to watch a pay-per-view wrestling match when so many others in New Orleans have so little, due to Hurrikan Katrina. Nana is watching a cooking show at the time, learning how to cut a flower design from a tomato. When Monica sarcastically asks who has time to learn such a thing, Nana answers, "Unfortunately, I do."
Fight or Flight
As Monica enters Haus der Dawsons, she sees Micah playing the piano. Nana states that it is wonderful to "have a musician in the house again" and leaves the two alone.
