Full length episode commentaries with the cast and crew of Heroes are made available on NBC's website after each new episode has aired in the United States. The first episode to have a commentary made available was The Fix.
The commentaries typically feature two or three members of the cast and crew who provide insight and other details about the story as well as the production techniques. Occasionally spoilers are revealed in the episode commentaries.

- According to director Allan Arkush, this episode is largly based on the 1955 film noir thriller The Desperate Hours starring Humphrey Bogart. Arkush also cites other films including Martin Scorsese's thriller Cape Fear (1991), as well as the film noir features Out of the Past (1947) and T-Men (1947) as having an influence on this episode.
