The seventh episode of the new season of Chronicles, entitled "Train 192" has been released. |
About
Side Stories follow the lives of Heroes around the world whose stories are untold in Chronicles. These characters, old and new, have story acrs that span 2-7 chapters. Each different Story arc will be released one at a time and will each revolve around one or two central characters.
Stories
Sandman

The first Side Story to be released, Sandman, follows the story of Amid Zahir, AKA The Sandman. Amid's life, having been ruined by his cheating wife, her lover, and her father, continues to spiral downwards until he tries to destroy the city of Cairo. The Sandman ran for four chapters entitled, Sandman, The Storm, Revenge and Lover's Leap.
Sandman began being released on the 25th of July, 2009 and stopped on the 2nd of August, 2009.
Mother

The second Side Story to be released, Mother, focuses on Samantha Russel's final days as a Company Agent, in which she goes on a mission to capture a dangerous man, eventually learning she has only months to live.
Mother began being released on the 5th of August 2009 and concluded its releases on the 8th of August, 2009.
The Partner

The third Side Story volume, The Partner, focuses on Alan Carter and his former partner Dylan Tyler as they hunt down a special man named Harry Chow in Korea. Alan becomes increasingly disturbed with Dylan's reckless behaviour and the series ends in a surprising twist.
The Partner began being released on the 15th of August, 2009 and concluded its releases on the 29th of August, 2009.
Teardrop and Love Story
This new series of Side Stories focus on Elisa Douglas as the main character. It runs side by side with Season Two of Chronicles and reveals interesting plots and backstories for characters who may or may not appear in the main show. Other featured characters are Santiago Montez and Cathy Noble.
Teardrop

Teardrop was released on the 6th of October, 2009. Because of the delayed return of Season Two, both chapters of Teardrop were released on the same day. Teardrop follows the story of Elisa and Santiago as they both deal with different problems. The series ends with Santiago rescuing Elisa (seen in After The Fall). The two of them are then recruited by the mysterious REBEL.
Love Story

Love Story follows two separate tales of a growing relationship. The first, between Elisa and Santiago, continues to grow while they search for the mysterious "Harry", who is a person of interest for REBEL. The second relationship, between new hero Cathy Noble and Kevin Haile, occurs while the two of them work alongside each other in Rictor's group of fugitives. Love Story began to be released on the 17th of October, 2009.
