At an unknown time in the past, Nathan Petrelli and his wife Heidi were in a car accident. Nathan was driving, but it's currently unknown who exactly was to blame for the accident or whether anyone else was involved. The accident left Heidi in a wheelchair.
Peter tells his mother that he somehow sensed when Nathan had his accident.
Notes
- Heidi claims she was upset at God for the accident originally, but has since made peace.
- Heidi is led to believe that Nathan had an affair in Las Vegas after an interview with Oliver Dennison. She blames her wheelchair for his probable infidelity.
