300 miles vs 300 feet

I could have sworn (in my puny and forgetful brain) that Nathan said "300 feet" not "300 miles" ... Any clarification, or am I just losing my mind? Thx! Ryangibsonstewart 15:36, 28 November 2006 (EST)

• In either case, it's one heck of an error by the writers... 300 ft would barely be down the street from Peter's party (Nathan is traveling quite fast on the highway too, he would cover that distance (1/20th of a mile) in the time he was having that conversation with Heidi) and 300 miles would be a 5-hour car trip (just did it this past holiday). 300 miles from New York, NY, would be halfway through VA south of Washington, DC. --Orne 15:59, 28 November 2006 (EST)

    • Why can't both statements be correct? Nathan can land 300 feet away, and Peter can sense the accident while he's 300 miles away. The two distances are not related. The real error here is why Nathan was 300 miles away from Peter when he was presumably driving between Manhattan and Long Island.--Hardvice (talk) 22:33, 28 November 2006 (EST)

Similar Vans & Henchmen?

Has anyone looked at the various henchmen who came to pickup Ando and Hiro in the van and compared them to other Linderman incidents? Same van that went after Nathan? Bkdelong 12:45, 11 February 2007 (EST)

• Nathan was wrecked by an SUV. Hiro and Ando where picked up in a van. There's no good shot of the guys in the SUV. Too early to tell if there's any Linderman connection, like perhaps if Kaito borrowed some of Linderman's thugs or something.--Hardvice (talk) 12:39, 11 February 2007 (EST)

Rename to Heidi's accident

Both Nathan's accident and Heidi's accident point to this article, which is good. However, Nathan really wasn't involved in the accident too much--a bump on the head, and that's it. I think of this as Heidi's accident, since she was the major victim here. Any opposed? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:21, 15 November 2008 (EST)

• I'm not opposed, but I think if it gets renamed, it should be noted that Nathan was driving and Heidi was in the passenger seat when the initial part of the accident (the fender bender/bump) took place. Normally, the fault of a traffic accident is placed to whomever is at the wheel... I realize that in this case, no one was at the wheel when the car crashed, so I don't disagree with the rename.--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:09, 16 November 2008 (EST)

• Yes this article should be changed to "Heidi's accident", Nathan wasn't injured and it was referred by Nathan as Heidi's accident in Unexpected. It was an attempt on Nathan's life but he wasn't directly affected by the crash, just Heidi.--Steely McBeam - (talk) 12:25, 11 March 2009 (EDT)
