Signatures for GMT users
I wonder if there's any way to have it so that if you're a GMT (or any non - American) user and you click on the signature button it'll come up with your time? I have to do mine manually. Thanks! --IotV 12:12, 5 January 2009 (GMT)
- Under your preferences, 'Date and time', you can set your timezone to GMT by setting the difference in hours from UTC. Or you can create your own custom signature template. See Help:Signatures for more info.--MiamiVolts (talk) 11:11, 26 January 2009 (EST)
Jimmy Jean-Louis's Charity 'Hollywood Unites for Haiti'
Hey, I know that you give donations to charities with some of the money generated by the website and I was wondering if you would be willing to give to Jimmy Jean-Louis's Charity 'Hollywood Unites for Haiti'. It is a charity which is trying to help out Haiti which according to Jimmy is really struggling at the moment and has been since it was hit by a hurricane in September. There is more info on Jimmy's site [1] and a website for the charity should be up sometime next week [2]. I feel that this would be a good place for the wiki to give money too as the charity not only aims to raise money but also aims to let people know what is going in Haiti a country so close to the USA. Jimmy is a great guy and would be really thrilled if you could give his charity a good start. Thanks a lot. I have done a interview with him and this is one of the topics which we talked about a lot.--Skywalkerrbf 15:18, 15 January 2009 (EST)

Help finding a specific wiki page
There is a page I can't remember its name, where we showcase a side-by-side gallery of a painting and its real-show counterpart frame. It looks like the gallery in this page (here), but it showcases all examples of paintings that resemble real-life shots. Can you help me find it? Physical Mimicry
- Can we have a definite hold on the Physical Mimicry theory of mine? As far as we know that's the only speculation that we have as shown in the episode? - Arkillion (Arkillion 13:28, 4 February 2009 (EST))
- What do you mean? (Admin 13:29, 4 February 2009 (EST))
- As far as we know he can mimic abilities of other evolved humans such as Mohinder and Tracy by physically touching them, people speculate it is a mixture of both his original ability and his father's ability and some speculate that it was due to the "shunt" keeping him drugged. Can we have Physical Mimicry/Peter's Ability remain open for speculation?
- Well, the name "Physical Mimicry" is completely off the table because it's an inaccurate term for his ability. The fact that it requires physical contact (it seems) is merely a detail of the ability. I think the article can be left Peter's ability for now while we document exactly what we've observed so far. If we determine through more information in upcoming episodes that it's actually more appropriate to use one of the existing abilities we have then we can merge any relevent information from Peter's ability into that article. There do seem to be some clear differences so far between his ability and the others we've seen so far so I think having Peter's ability for now allows us to collect everything we know about his current ability without the risk of incorrectly claiming it's one of the other abilities we've seen so far. (Admin 13:42, 4 February 2009 (EST))
- I realise the term "Physical Mimicry" sounds a tad risque, but I had no other way of describing the process of his ability without including mimicry and something physical. Power Mimicry is way too inaccurate/bland. Ability Mimicry is also inaccurate/bland but Physical Mimicry sounded "okay". Heh - Arkillion

volume
i think in the character pages instead of appearing seasone one or two should appear volume --Manwithnoname 17:44, 6 February 2009 (EST)
- This is actually a pretty good idea, it makes sense considering that we are still in Season 3 but are into the second volume for the season. Adding A Clear and Present Danger to Season 3 can be a bit confusing.--Steelymcbeam 11:07, 8 February 2009 (EST)
- A Clear and Present Danger is part of Season Three. It's the fourteenth episode of the season and is billed as such in official sources. Making a change like the one proposed is not a bad suggestion, but it would mean restructuring pretty much the entire wiki. However, it should really be discussed at the community portal. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:36, 8 February 2009 (EST)
Spoiler on non-spoiler page
Hi, I just had a question about spoilers on non-spoiler pages... are they not allowed at all? I was under the impression that we could post them as long as they're blacked out using spoilertext. It's been done lots of times before to no consequence. Sincerely, Thrashmeister [ U | T | C ] 22:20, 9 February 2009 (EST)
- There are differing opinions on it. I am absolutely against the use of the spoilertext template (as I was when it was originally created). When I come across its use I remove the text. Spoilertext doesn't hide text reliably nor does it hide it when viewing diffs in the recent changes. I've had too many things spoiled because of its use. (Admin 22:22, 9 February 2009 (EST))
- Agree. When the spoilertext template was first created, I thought it was a great solution. That was also at a time when I immersed myself in spoilers and spent a lot of time scouring the net for them, so seeing a spoiler wasn't as sensitive to me. I've since mellowed in that regard. I don't avoid spoilers, but I don't like seeing them unless I choose to see them. I, too, have been disappointed by seeing spoilers when my mouse accidentally crawls over the black text, or when I check diffs on nonspoiler pages. I've also seen computers that don't behave nicely with the spoilertext template, and nothing gets blacked out. If it were up to me, I'd get rid of the template and just say no spoilers on nonspoiler pages. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:36, 10 February 2009 (EST)
- See Template talk:Spoilertext for some related discussion. I'm making a related suggestion there.--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:51, 10 February 2009 (EST)

German Wiki
Hello. I'm the Admin of the German HeroesWiki (The lady with the white scarf, maybe you remember ;)) and there are some things for you to be done there, an also something I'm wondering about the whole time:
- Could you please update the statistics? It's February right now, and they are sticking in September. :)
- We were running into some problems with the toc-template. But I think you got already a message on your user page at the German Wiki. It would be really nice if you could correct this.
- And, last but not least, I was wondering if you could create namespaces like "graphic novel" and "theory" for our Wiki as well? I mean we can creat pages which are named e.g. "Graphic Novel:Libertad", but it's still defined as a normal article, and not as a graphic novel. We would need the namespaces for "Comic" (graphic novels), "Theorie" (theories) and for portals, which are named "Portal"s as well. Like I said, I was wondering if you could do that.
Thank you for all your help. Lady xph 245 16:01, 16 February 2009 (EST)
- Admin, I'm not sure if I am able to help with any of this...but I know it's a lot of work. If there's anything I can do, please let me know. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:45, 16 February 2009 (EST)
You seem the best person to ask;
I've hunted down some of the policies but is there any issue with making my sig look like this: -- anguard, because in other wikis some small images are allowed as long as it doesn't break the line spacing. I want to know before I activate it and get bashed.-- Vanguard 11:01, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- I don't see a problem with it at all. It's not tacky or obtrusive. Go for it. :) (Admin 12:14, 18 February 2009 (EST))
- Rock on, many thanks! ----
anguard 12:28, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- Vanguard, since you have a fancy sig like that, you might want to shorten it by using an autosig so that you can update it easily and so it doesn't crowd the talk pages with extra lines just for your sig code. There's an explanation on how to do so in Help:Signatures, but feel free let me know if you need extra assistance.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:26, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- Autosig? Yea, a more direct walkthrough would be nice. Unless you're talking about simply typing the tildas and it's automatic, it already is. I don't Copy+paste it every time. But my sig line isn't much different than most others. I could count the characters used to prove this if you want.----
anguard 13:28, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- Yeah, it's not much longer than normal, but if you want to change the span style or image later on, having an autosig will let you apply the new sig format to all the talk pages on which your signature already appears without having to go back and change all the pages. First, create a page at "User:Vanguard/sig" and put there the code for your signature ([[Image:VanguardLogo.png|19px]][[User:Vanguard|'''<span style="color:green"><strong>anguard</strong></span>''']]). Second, create a page at "User:Vanguard/autosig" and save that page as "{{User:Vanguard/sig}}". Finally, go to your nickname in your preferences and save that field as "--{{User:Vanguard/autosig}}", making sure that the raw signatures checkmark is set. If you still have trouble, let me know.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:39, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- Why do I need 2 pages for a template? Won't 1 just do? My theory: User:Vanguard/Sig, Plug in {{User:Vanguard/Sig}} in my "nickname" section of preferences, would that work? ----
anguard 14:00, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- You need 2 pages because the wiki automatically substitutes the contents into the signature, meaning if you put a template in your nickname, it automatically substitutes the contents of that template instead of listing it on the page.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:04, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- You lost me. Would it be too much to ask if you went ahead and did it D:----
anguard 14:24, 18 February 2009 (EST)
- Ok, I've added the subpages for you. You still need to save your nickname field of your preferences as "--{{User:Vanguard/autosig}}".--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:40, 18 February 2009 (EST)

Why no 'preview' feature for uploading images
Has anyone ever asked this question? I know that when I create new pages, or edit existing pages, I am always able to hit the preview button before submitting the change, to check for typos, redlinks, etc...but when uploading new images, it doesn't provide the option to preview the description. You have to upload it, then go back and check to see that the links worked correctly, and then if not, make a subsequent edit to the page...at that time, you can do a preview. Only when initially uploading an image, you can't do a preview. Just a thought...if this could be turned on, it would probably help lesson entry-errors when uploading new images. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 03/30/2009 13:30 (EST)
- Not a bad idea, but I don't think it's an option in the MediaWiki server we are using or in the newer versions. I checked through the extensions, but didn't find anything regarding this. The new version Admin is working on does show an image of the file that already exists on the server if it matches one, but I understand that's not the same thing.--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:31, 31 March 2009 (EDT)

Name change
Hey ive just created a new account and appear to have a name which is very simular to another user. I would be greatfull if you could change my name to Intuitive Empathic Absorption to avoid confusion when posts are added. My name is currently IntuitiveEmpath and there is another member with the name Intuitive Empath, which im sure you can understand is far too simular. When i created my account the name i originally wanted was Intuitive Empathic Absorption but was blacklisted for some reason.
So you just made your own bot, or is it manually updated?--MiamiVolts (talk) 03:22, 10 April 2009 (EDT)

Cockney Heroes
Hi Admin. You may have noticed, through recent changes, that User:Gabriel Bishop, User:Laughingdevilboy, User:Obelisk52 and I are writing a fan-fic called Cockney Heroes. We are wondering if we were allowed to create a seperate user namespace for it at User:Cockney Heroes amd move evething here. We spoke to MiamiVolts and RGS about this and they said you were the admin allowed to grant multiple users, RGS also said that this was a good idea. We hope we will be allowed to do this as we want some way to difine the pages, thanks --IronyUTC CH 17:40, 2 May 2009 (EDT)
- As long as you create an actual user account with that name then it will be alright to do this. I recommend not actually using the using the account for editing, but it needs to exist as a placeholder at least. (Admin 20:57, 2 May 2009 (EDT))

Hey, Admin. When you get a chance, could you look at User talk:Ryangibsonstewart#Infoboxes? Ikkian said he's seeing infoboxes on the left instead of the right (see here), and I'm not sure what the problem is. Thanks! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:45, 18 April 2009 (EDT)

Out-dated Theories
Is it sensible to suggest that theories that have been disproved should be deleted from theory pages? This would help make the Wiki look cleaner and less cluttered. Snoops619 12:02, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Yes, it is standard practice to remove disproven theories. However, theories shouldn't be removed just because they are old.--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:48, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
- Oh no, I would do anything of the sort! I'm just new and didn't know the protocol for disproved theories. Thanks for the help =) Snoopy 14:14, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
Error on Latest Heroes Episode Template on Main Page
In the Latest Episode Template on the Main Page, the bubble at the bottom of it that has "For a complete summary, see the full article, or watch the episode on Hulu." is linking to next episode instead of the current episode like it is supposed to. I tried to fix it, I looked at the edit page for the Template and the currentep Template but I did not see how to change the actual output of Template, so instead I thought I would just notify you guys because I'm sure you guys know how to fix it. I clicked the link earlier to go to the full article and bam there was a bunch of spoiler warnings and I then quickly hit the back button lol.(Craigyjack 19:44, 22 April 2009 (EDT))

Is there anybody watched a film serie called "The Crow"? In crow people can heal like claire, suddenly disappear like sylar, and in one of scenes of crow 1 eric(the most important character) takes his friend's cigarette and says "you shouldn't smoke this,it will kill you" and when sylar comes danko's car (after taking shape-shifting) sylar did same thing and in second movie if crow appear sometimes we hear a voice and that voice is now using as space time manipulation sound, in crow 2 a character named sarah can draw future, see future and past in her dream.I can't write everything cause of i can't know english very well but you must watch this films. Nathan clarification?
So, seeing as how he is technally dead, are we reverting the portal pictures of Nathan to deceased (faded)?--Anthony Gooch 01:18, 29 April 2009 (EDT)

- That's funny. I don't see a whole lot of merit in their claims. Everyone else seems happy except them just because they didn't like the results. (Admin 09:15, 6 May 2009 (EDT))
- Well, besides the ad revenues Sunbeam lost, which in the millions are nothing to sneeze at, there is the matter of Nielsen deciding to institute set-box meters in the South Florida area without getting certification from the government's Media Rating Council. I think it will be interesting to see if anything comes of this or the current four-day delay in announcing any ratings, said to be caused by an unspecified server problem.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:44, 6 May 2009 (EDT)
- The ad revenues explain why they got frustrated and decided to sue, but that alone sounded to me like them just whining. I was not aware of the set-box meters. I can see how that may add merit to their suit. (Admin 17:43, 6 May 2009 (EDT))

Admin suggestion
Hello
- Can I suggest that user: Irony be recommended to become an administrater. He is very helpful, he will answer and assist any queries you put to him. He is a patroller at the moment (a very good one I may add) but I believe and I am sure others will as well that his work rate and attitude on Heroes Wiki merits an administrater place. This is just a suggestion, it will be your decision, I am just casting my vote.--Danko 16:46, 18 May 2009 (EDT)

Just a hunch, but there has been a stream of new users today, can you check their IP adresses, it looks slightly suspect, the users are: ValdoMzelr, CaladOmcoe, OksanaL, C4tcaLetoa, LipasElcac, TapasLidom, TroclIdelc, OloroMonde, C4ttrOrget and NoercNabas. Of course, I might be completely wrong, but the way the usernames are set up with a name, then a capitol letter half way through looks very similar. ==New Book, Heroes and Philosophy==
Hey There,
My name's Tyler Shores, and I'm one of the contributing writers for Heroes and Philosophy, a new book that's coming out this August. I'm a big fan of Heroes Wiki and used it pretty frequently during my writing, and thought it might be a neat idea to get in touch with you. If you'd like, we could send you a free advanced copy of the book - and if you find it interesting, it would be great if you'd want to post some thoughts about the book for your readers. I asked our publisher to write up a more formal invitation, which I've enclosed below. Heroes and Philosophy was a lot of fun to work on; the show has a great deal of philosophical depth that I think fans will really enjoy exploring in the book.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to get in touch with either them or myself.
Thanks! Tyler
====================================
May 2009 Dear Fellow Heroes Fans,
When ordinary individuals from around the world inexplicably develop superhuman abilities, they question who they are, struggle to cope with new responsibilities, and decide whether to use their new powers for good or for evil. Such is the mythological universe of Tim Kring's hit TV show Heroes, a critical and popular success that has developed into interactive websites, magazines, action figures, games, clothing, and now, just in time for the new fall season, the first unauthorized book to explore the shows’ epic philosophies.
HEROES AND PHILOSOPHY: Buy the Book, Save the World (Wiley; August 2009; $17.95 / Paper; ISBN: 978-0-470-37338-5) draws on some of philosophy’s heavy hitters to examine questions crucial to our existence as thinking, rational beings. Is the Company evil or good? Does Hiro really have a destiny? Do we? Could mind reading be a power that we already have? Is time travel actually possible? If so, could we, like Hiro, use it to save the lives of those we love? What obligations do we have to family? Is it okay to lie in order to hide your powers and save the world? And shouldn’t the heroes of Heroes get paid for their services? This new book offers answers to these and other fascinating questions about one of the most watched TV shows on the air.
In the vein of other books in the successful series, HEROES AND PHILOSOPHY uses pop culture phenomena to creatively uncover our driving world views. This book is sure to fascinate fans, critics, students, and professors alike!
Series Editor: William Irwin (Wilkes-Barre, PA) is Professor of Philosophy at King's College. He originated the philosophy and popular culture genre of books as coeditor of the bestselling The Simpsons and Philosophy and has overseen recent titles including, Batman and Philosophy, House and Philosophy, and Watchmen and Philosophy.
Heroes and Philosophy Editor: David Kyle Johnson (Wilkes-Barre, PA) is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Kings College.
I hope you’ll consider HEROES AND PHILOSOPHY for a review or feature. If you have any questions, please contact me by telephone at (415) 782-3213 or by email at ebeam@wiley.com.

I notice it expired. Since the series was cancelled I'm not sure if there's a need to renew it. What did the email say? (Admin 20:00, 15 July 2009 (EDT))

Also, I reminded you that heroeswiki.com expires in October of this year, so you could get an early move on renewing that. :)--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:39, 15 July 2009 (EDT)
A Few Questions..
If you have the time, I was wandering if I could ask a few questions...
1. I was trying to get on my account on Heroes Wiki on my phone, because I was on vacation and the e-mail notifications were saying someone had made a message on my talk page, but it said that I has to enable my cookies first....and I was wandering....A. What does that mean? and B. How would I accomplish this?
2. There are several books out. Saving Charlie is one. There are two Graphic Novel books. And then the Heroes Magazine mentioned a book called Heroes Revealed. Also, in the back of the second Graphic Novel book, it mentioned the third coming out in Fall 2009. I was wandering why these books don't have pages in Heroes Wiki? Under Portal:Promotions or something. Saving Charlie I think has a page but the others don't.
Please answer my questions when you have the time! Thanks!
- They're are pages on them Gabriel BishopUTC 21:23, 22 July 2009 (EDT)
- 1. Cookies are files where your browser stores information related to the site you are visiting. In order for you to remain logged in, Heroes Wiki needs to access a cookie for a code that confirms your identity. If it's not in the help for your phone, your cellular provider should be able to tell you how to enable cookies on your phone. P.S. Hey there, I'm new....well you probably know that. I want to know if I add a fan-made character that is on the Heroes: Survival who HASN'T appear on iStory or one of the graphic novels, am I still allowed to make an article about him/her?
Kyle Stevens 01:33, 16 August 2009 (EDT)

Hi Admin
Hi Admin. I had asked this question to RGS, and he told me I should ask you. So...I have recently created a wiki, and was wondering if I could copy some of the templates (pretty much just the character and ability templates). I would very much appreciate it if I could for it would be pretty helpful. But if not alright, that's ok and never mind.--Catalyst · Talk · HL 21:20, 8 September 2009 (EDT)
- First, keep in mind that many of our templates are based on MediaWiki extensions that may or may not be available in your MediaWiki installation. In terms of being copied, templates are kind of a gray area in my opinion. I believe the advice I've given before is that people are relatively free to use the templates elsewhere as long as they're not used in such a way that it creates an intentional ambiguity as to whether the site some is at is Heroes Wiki or not. Also providing some sort of attribution somewhere saying that the templates originated from Heroes Wiki is a nice way to avoid any hard feelings (in the event that one or a couple people were principally involved in their creation), but is by no means required. I know Heroes Wiki originally adapted some templates from sites like Lostpedia which initially generated some negative feelings and while it was never my intention to generate any negative feelings, I also felt it was necessary to personally convey though my actions here that copying templates was not the same as say copying content. I hope this helps. :) (Admin 21:45, 8 September 2009 (EDT))
Special:Recentchanges
Hey Admin, is there a way to modify the recent changes page to hide both User and User:talk modifications ? Sure I can select the User namespace and do an invert selection, but I still will see the User:Talk pages in the results. My request is motivated by the fact that many users have now subpages, blogs, stories et al which really make the real modifications hard to track. -- (talk) 15:23, 20 September 2009 (EDT)
Help
Hello, this is user:Ratclaws. i had a power outage at my house and it logged me off of heroeswiki. when i went to log back in it said my password was incorrect, so i had a temporary one sent to me to log in on. when i did tis it asked me to put in a new password, which i did, but then it sent me to a page titled "reset account password" that said "no form data" in a pink box. suffice to say after 10min of this i made a new account to ask for help. so umm... help :) please--Helpratclaws 19:43, 21 September 2009 (EDT)
- never mind, now it works--Ratclaws 09:42, 22 September 2009 (EDT)
Hi, this is user:RedScharlach. I'm having the exact same problem that Ratclaws describes: I logged on with a temporary password, then when I tried to reset my password, I ended up on a page that showed the "No Form Data" box and I couldn't get any further. I'd love to be able to log in again: do you have any idea what the problem is? --HelpRedScharlach 16:00, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
- Try it a couple times and let me know if it starts working. I'm going to look into it and see if I can reproduce the issue. (Admin 16:02, 30 September 2009 (EDT))
- Actually, it looks like you get No Form Data but the password reset does actually complete. Did you try going back and logging in again with the new password? (Admin 16:49, 30 September 2009 (EDT))
- I just tried that, but it only brought up the message "Login error: Incorrect password entered. Please try again." I also cleared my cache to see whether that helped, but it didn't. --HelpRedScharlach 18:09, 30 September 2009 (EDT)
- Well, I've tried to log in several more times since yesterday, and still no success, unfortunately. Do you have any other suggestions? --HelpRedScharlach 18:03, 2 October 2009 (EDT)
- Try to reset your password again now. It should work, but I can't guarantee for how long at this time. (Admin 21:07, 5 October 2009 (EDT))
- Excellent, I can now log in! Thanks so much for your help! --RedScharlach 15:19, 6 October 2009 (EDT)

Parser functions and Dynamic Page List
- Hello! is it possible please to enable Parser Functions and Dynamic Page List on the french site? Thank you very much. I think it's very useful and I experimented that on the french version of Stargate Wiki where I am the administrator (as you will see, the design is inspired of HeroesWiki. By the way, I didn't see work from Desperate July (february) or Eutrope (may) for months now. So is it possible please for me to become an Admin of the french site so I can improve it (design and functions)? Thank you very much.--LIMAFOX76 11:53, 28 September 2009 (EDT)
Limit of Templates?
Hi there, how have you been? I've got some troubles in the german Heroeswiki with the List of character appearances by graphic novel. Some templates don't schow anymore, meaning after Graphic Novel number 140 the appearance template doesn't show right. No matter which template I put there. So is there some kind of limit of templates over there? Your List here despite the size, seems just fine. Or do you see any other reason for the wrong showing. Thx for your time. --Muffin84 10:56, 6 October 2009 (EDT)
- There are template limits over there and over here. I noticed in the appearance templates, you are using the ep template to print the name. You can probably get some more to print out by substituting the ep template call with the actual name for the graphic novel. Alternatively, you can just split the page in two.--MiamiVolts (talk) 11:35, 6 October 2009 (EDT)

Episode titles
Okay. So for some reason, you guys manage to list titles for upcoming episodes of Heroes months in advance to their being listed on NBC Universal Media Village (NBCUMV). In that respect alone, I think that this wiki's episode pages should be counted as credible sources for our List of Heroes episodes page on Wikipedia, however, one of our admins says that because your source for that information is unclear, we can't. Therefore, I was wonder if that information could be divulged. SnakeChess5 14:37, 9 November 2009 (EST)
- I work for NBC, and I am also an administrator for Heroes Wiki. Many of our episode titles come from spoiler sites (most notably Heroesite and The ODI)...but I've confirmed every title with various writers and producers (like Joe Tolerico, Carri Wagner, Jim Martin, and others). Does that help? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:54, 9 November 2009 (EST)
- I think that just might. Let me pass the message onto my fellow editors at WikiProject Heroes and I'll let you know if I have any success. Thank you. SnakeChess5 13:18, 10 November 2009 (EST)
- Unfortunately they did not accept that. You see, to them it is merely a claim made by a Heroes Wiki admin. They need some more verifiable evidence that the episode titles listed on Heroes Wiki are 100% accurate. Some kind of confirmation in writing on a website that is accredited, because Heroes Wiki is still only viewed as a spoiler site and thus it is not accredited. If you were to help me further in this matter it would be most appreciated. You can view the discussion here. SnakeChess5 13:30, 11 November 2009 (EST)
- Wikipedia has their own goals and policies and quite often information here isn't suitable for inclusion over there. I really think it's going to wind up where you just can't include it there yet until there's some announcement by NBCUMV. As you probably know being a Wikipedia contributor this has happened a number of times in the past already and there's probably not much you'll be able to do about it because of their policies over there. (Admin 13:37, 11 November 2009 (EST))

Hello
I'm a big fan of Heroes and of comic book art. I really enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes art of Cesar Lemus, showcased on your Slow Burn storyboards. Can you post some storyboards from Season 4? Would love to see some current stuff from the Carnival Clan. BR, Bob --Heroesfan2006
- Hi, Bob. Glad you enjoyed the storyboards! I've been in contact with Cesar Lemus, and he was gracious enough to share his storyboards with us. (A few others come from screen captures and from former director Greg Beeman.) Often, Cesar doesn't feel comfortable sharing the storyboards until after the season is over, which is the main reason why there is very little from Season Four. However, I'll ask him again, now that the season is over. In the meantime, check out the storyboards for the Slow Burn webisodes, a few of the carnival banners, and the designs for Lydia's tattoos. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:11, 11 February 2010 (EST)

Need alteration to robots.txt for page mentioning me
Admin-
i was one of the VFX artists on an early episode of Heroes. I noticed on the heroes wiki, an photograph of me that was only briefly a Facebook photo that made it onto this site. I hadn't intended that photo to be public (it curiously never was), So I removed it from the wiki page that mentions me.
http://heroeswiki.com/Tim_Nassauer
However it still shows up in Google searches, and I'd appreciate it if you might edit your robots.txt file for that page to remove the image from Google's (and other search engines') indices and caches.

Admin rights and namespaces on French wiki.
Hi Admin,
I know it has been a long time since I made edits on the French wiki (I was busy elsewhere, notably on the French and English Stargate wikis), but is it possible please to grant me admin rights on the French wiki as I can change the main page for example to fit the English one and to make a better look on the wiki? And is it possible to add all Extensions like the English one (especially DynamicPageList)? Thank you very much for your answer. --LIMAFOX76 06:24, 4 June 2013 (EDT)

- Ok, I believe I fixed this now. Main issues seemed to be with the talk pages which apparently I originally just took the French name and appeneded _talk to them. I've renamed them as you've suggested above. I did not add Portal/Portail as it's not an actual namespace. (Admin (talk) 14:12, 31 March 2014 (EDT))
- Yes it's working. If you want to be "perfect", you can lowercase the "D" of the main Graphic Novel namespace: "Bande_dessinée" ;-). In French, we don't put caps after a name in titles.
Regarding the "Theory" and "Fan Creation" namespaces, I think there're not essential in the French wiki; the main work is to update and fill the canon and neo-canon articles (and there's already a lot to do). Theory and Fan Creation are secondary objective. If you want to keep them as namespaces, please find the code to put in LocalSettings.php to fit the French language below:
