Getting lengthy
The GN list is getting pretty lengthy. I say we define all GN issues by TV season. So all September 2006 - August 2007 issues would be "Season One GN issues", etc. This could be an easy way to make the nav-bars smaller too. ---- 01:51, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
- That or the first 50, and so on.--Bob 01:56, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
Check out User:Ohmyn0/sandbox for one idea. ---- 01:58, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
- I like this idea a lot, actually. Even though cutting the GNs off by season is a bit arbitrary, we're eventually going to have to do it, and it makes for a nice parallel. The only other logical cut-off would be at the point where the printed compilation ends, wherever that is.--Hardvice (talk) 02:02, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
- Which one do you like of the two I have in my sandbox. One or Two? (I've just labeled them) ----

- Personally, I like number one. Unless we go more than four or five seasons, I don't think the line breaks will be a problem (and we can always put completed seasons on one line and the current season on another, even then). It just looks cleaner and clearer to me.--Hardvice (talk) 02:13, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
- Another thing we can do, once we figure out who the main and supporting season two characters are, is do the same thing for characters: add a link to the season one portals, and then just list the current season characters.--Hardvice (talk) 02:14, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
- I like the first option better, too. I'm fine with making the break at the first season (cutting it off where the Graphic Novel Collection ends leaves the summer GNs out in the cold), but I'm not sure I like doing it for the beginning of September. Since it's already somewhat arbitrary, I'd rather anything released before Four Months Later (#1-51) in one set, and anything released after (#52-??) in the next set. Either that, or cut it off at a nice number like 50 and call it "Issues #1-50" instead of "Season One". -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:26, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, cutting it off at 50 seems a lot safer to me, because then we're not assigning a season to something that has no season. Yeah, I would personally rather see "Issues #1-50", or whatever number we agree upon. I just don't want to make an arbitrary break and call it a season. If we're breaking it up for the purposes of the site, that's fine, but we should at least respect that the creators have not designated seasons for the graphic novels. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:30, 26 September 2007 (EDT)

I've made some changes. Better? ---- 20:02, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
- I personally like it, though I would either put both the "archived" episodes and graphic novels on the same line as the current one, or put them both on separate lines. Right now, the links to archived episodes are on new lines, and the links to archived GNs are on the bulleted line. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:49, 26 September 2007 (EDT)
Graphic novel links
There is a link for issues #1-50, but the page that links to is just a list of all of them, not specific to #1-50. Currently, there are pages for #1-12, 13-24, 25-36, 37-48, 49-58, and 59-present. Should the index have a similar breakdown? --Psiphiorg 03:16, 14 November 2007 (EST)
