Character History
Graphic Novel:Root and Branch, Part 1
"Julien" acts as operation leader for the big bag and tag in a control room at Primatech Research. When the three teams confirm they are in position, he gives the word to proceed. Later, he meets his partner Sabine outside the holding cell for the captured duplicates. When Sabine apologizes for allowing target three to escape, he says that he can "sense" target three and that they will capture him together.
Graphic Novel:Root and Branch, Part 2
"Julien" is confronted by Sabine, who suspects he is not the root Julien but one of his duplicates. It is revealed that he and Sabine shared a relationship since being paired up by The Company a year ago, including living together in a hotel in Paris. Now, however, Sabine claims she does not love him. She shoots him in the leg before he finally confesses he is not the root, and promises Sabine he will show her the real Julien, but Sabine shoots and kills him anyway.
Graphic Novel:Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration, Part 1
"Julien" and Sabine are in a Paris hotel on a mission to capture a "speedster." Later, he and Sabine encounter a man in an alley who they believe to be their target. The man phases through the street to the sewers below. "Julien" and other clones of Julien Dumont track the man down there and successfully capture him.

Notes
- At the end of Into the Wild, Part 3, it is revealed that Sabine is pregnant. Though Sabine once had a relationship with the Hartsdale clone, it is unclear if he is the father of her child.
