About
After Anthony Ocampo graduated from the University of the Philippines in the College of Fine Arts, he went to work for GMA Networks. In 2000, Anthony left that position to come to America with the hopes of providing a better life for his family. Two months later, he began working for Stargate Digital. As a traditionally trained painter, Anthony has done 3D and other visual effects work for Crossing Jordan (created by Tim Kring), Las Vegas, 40 Days and 40 Nights, The Guru, CSI: Miami, Helen of Troy, Nip/Tuck, Cold Case, Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King and other films and television shows.
Trivia
- Anthony won a Visual Effects Society award in the category of Outstanding Models and Miniatures in a Televised Program, Music Video or Commercial, for his Trojan horse work in Helen of Troy.
- Anthony also won a VES Outstanding Models and Miniatures in a Broadcast Program for his work on Las Vegas.
- Jurassic Park inspired Anthony to get into the field of 3D work.
