About
David started his career as a daily newspaper writer in New Zealand. In 1990, he emigrated to the United Kingdom. While looking for different kind of work, he found a job as a comic book editor, editing British comics Judge Dread and 2000 AD, which he edited through the 1990s. During that time, he wrote some novels based on Judge Dredd, and the Doctor Who novel Who Killed Kennedy. In 2000, he quit his job to start writing freelance. Since then, David has written more than 20 novels, and several other projects, including comic books (like The Phantom Chronicles in 2007, and Transformers: The Art of Prime in 2013), radio plays, television dramas for BBC (like Doctors from 2010 to 2012), computer games, and non-fiction books.
