New Powers
So, what the heck is up with the guy that can make his hands blue? What is that power? And he can levitate? Is this Sylar? Are the powers related? And then there's the woman who can walk on walls: gravity defying? We need some names. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:00, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Pretty sure the guy generates electricity, can't explain the levitation part. And the woman has super-speed. And the fat guy has some sort of adipose tissue generation ;)--Densus 12:03, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- I'm laughing at the adipose tissue. but seriously, is this just another guy with enhanced strength? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:19, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- It looks to me like he's either a sumo-wrestler or a guy who can bulk-up like a sumo at will (like the Hulk). I'm pretty sure also that it's a woman who can walk on walls, and the guy has electricity generation. The character Brenan on MutantX with electricity generation could also generate energy jets from his palms, which, if directed downward, could launch him high into the air and fly.--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:29, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Good point MiamiVolts. And, obviously, the fat guy's powers are enhanced strength.--Denus 12:38, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- How is that obvious? Lots of people (particularly lots of people built like sumo wrestlers) can lift other people. It's not like he was lifting a bus.--Hardvice (talk) 12:50, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Well, the other guys have powers. So he must have powers aswell. Since he is Burger King Champ and all, logicly he would have enhanced strength... But of course, and probably, I'm might be wrong.--Densus 13:13, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Yeah, it could just be a sumo-wrestler type guy without powers. Oh, and I think the redhead lady Hiro rescues is Sparrow Redhouse, though we probably won't be sure till later.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:02, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- I don't think so... Sparrow is brunnet, according to String Theory. But I'm looking forward to know Sparrow's abilities.--Densus 13:13, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Sparrow would probably have changed her hair color like Claire to hide her identity. As for the Burger King Champ, what if he is a sumo-wrestler and his real power is super-digestion.--MiamiVolts (talk) 13:53, 1 May 2007 (EDT)

- Okay, getting back to a real conversation -- so we can say that there is a woman with enhanced speed and a man with, oh, I don't know, electrical output? Levitation? Spooky clothes? Any ideas? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:22, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- The problem with static images is we don't know how fast she's going. She could just be a wall-crawler moving at human speed, or she could be running so fast she can wall run. I really think our best bet is to wait a week before nailing down these powers, and just add Notes for what they've appeared to do for now.--Hardvice (talk) 15:32, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- I agree with Hardvice. Lets just put our best guesses in Notes for now. I'll give that the girl really has enhanced speed due to the jet trail behind her (a wallcrawler wouldn't have that). The guy with electricity has a form of electric manipulation (aka electrokinesis?). And finally, my best guess for sumo guy is enhanced digestion (I doubt two characters will share the same power, they haven't so far and Niki has enhanced strength).--MiamiVolts (talk) 15:45, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- I'd define the electricity power based on where it comes from. If the electricity comes from an outside source, the way cryokinesis and pyrokinesis do, then it is indeed electrokinesis. If it comes from the character's body (which it could, considering that the human body does generate electricity), then it'd be electricity generation. (I've reserached a lot on the subject, as I'm working on a fanfiction short story series that involves a character with electricty generation; the new graphic novel kinda irks me because of this.) --Paronine 18:00, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- So since it doesn't look like the character's body is charged (only his hands emit the electricity), it should be electrokinesis (not electrogeneration). Thanks for the clarification.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:02, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- We haven't see anyone with the same power... But we know that some of the unseen characters have Phasing or even Teleportation. --Densus 15:56, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, we know that Chandra Suresh--long before he confirmed the existence of any super powers--thought they might have teleportation or phasing. Chandra wasn't able to confirm the existence of evolved humans until he met Gabriel Gray.--Hardvice (talk) 16:07, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Even so, he might have some confirmation... He just didn't choose, for example, Tracy Chobham to have Teleportation or Felipe Acerra to have Phasing. --Densus 16:19, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Wait, where did enhanced digestion come from? I didn't se him swallow anything. Heroe!(talk) 16:36, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- It came from him being the Burger King Champ. (he'd probably be the world champion of eating contests). LOL.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:45, 1 May 2007 (EDT)

- So should we put a list of notes in this thread listing the new characters with their pictures, or is there a better place? Should we make an article dedicated to 'unnamed characters'? One for episodes, one for graphic novels, etc?--MiamiVolts (talk) 18:06, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- I'd just make a seperate article for those two characters, like "Wall runner" and "Floating Man" for now. One we get more info on them and their powers, we can go on from there. --Piemanmoo 19:06, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Wall runner sounds okay, but I prefer Sumo Man over Floating Man.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:20, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Thank goodness for two-part GNs, right? Let's wait until May 8 to do anything concrete. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:58, 1 May 2007 (EDT)
- Lol "Wall Runner"... Clearly she has super-speed... =\ --Densus 08:43, 2 May 2007 (EDT)
