Title

Crap salad sandwiches! This one is also called "Unknown Soldiers", so we're going to have to rename parts 1 and 2 to be just "War Buddies, Part 1" and "War Buddies, Part 2". I've done the templates, but I haven't moved the articles or fixed the links. *Sigh*--Hardvice (talk) 06:14, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

Lead Image

Since we don't really have a new title to try to illustrate, I went for an important scene that differentiates this chapter from Part 2 and which, out of context, doesn't give too much away--but we can definitely change it. Ideas?--Hardvice (talk) 08:07, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

  • Maybe we should go with the byline: "At the doorstep of paradise". The part when Austin and Dallas find Au Co seems to fit the bill. I'll upload it and see how it looks. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:42, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

Another one of Them?

Anyone besides me think the vegetables in that field look unnaturally large? --Ted C 09:58, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

Yes they do.--ASEO 10:48, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

Interactive Link

The link to the interactive novel, does not work. Do we want to have a direct link or chapter link, the other graphic novels' links may also need to be updated. -Lөvөl 12:24, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

  • The link work for me, using Firefox and pdf plugin. It load the pdf printable version. --FrenchFlo (talk) ||||||||| 13:04, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
  • For some reason, the interactive link changed its format. I switched it to the right one. Frustrating. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:43, 27 March 2007 (EDT)
    • Probably happened when they redid the Graphic Novel section on NBC.com. I like the new layout (except for the comments ... ugh, NBC.com attracts the dumbest posters on Earth), but now we have to update all our links. Sadness.--Hardvice (talk) 00:08, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
    • ...except it's just this one. Weirder still: it was up on the old-style link last night; that's how I pulled it up when I added the article. Odd.--Hardvice (talk) 00:10, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
      • Weirder still: when I checked the NBC GN page this morning (which you call "last night"), the blurb said "At the doorstep of paradise" on the full list page, but just "COPY" on the individual page. Of course, I just assumed it was walkie-talkie-speak, and didn't think it was one of those you-biquitous NBC goofs. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:28, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

Au Co, Vietnam

...should be a place, not a location. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:01, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

  • My concern is that, since it's a village, it's more analogous to Odessa, TX than to Union Wells High School. But it would be the only fictional Location. I'm really not 100% sold on either, truth be told.--Hardvice (talk) 00:06, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
    • Right, I agree it's odd either way. But now that we're calling them "World Locations", I think it's a slightly better as a place. I put it in the portal already, but that can easily be changed if somebody has a strong objection to it. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:28, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

The Pilots

Should there be a page for the pilots of the Skyhawk? It might be redundant with the Skyhawk article itself, but what do you guys think? --Hakkun 21:11, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

  • Hm, we do have pretty worthless articles on people who are dead and have little plot importance. The pilots are the mission, so I think they should be mentioned in an article, even if it's one article for both the pilot and the navigator.--Bob 21:39, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
