This wiki is a XML full dump clone of "Heroes Wiki", the main wiki about the Heroes saga that has been shut down permanently since June 1, 2020. The purpose of this wiki is to keep online an exhaustive and accurate database about the franchise.

Below are some common templates that are used throughout the site.
Formatting and Substitution
These templates alter the formatting of information or are used to substitute one value for another.
- Template:blurb, Template:blurbclose--used together these enclose a block of text within a "blurb". (e.g.
{{blurb}}This is text in a blurb{{blurbclose}}
returnsThis is text in a blurb - Template:ep--takes an episode or graphic novel number and returns the name of the episode or graphic novel (e.g.
{{ep|101}}
returns Genesis and{{ep|gn01}}
returns Monsters) - Template:nbl--creates a non-breaking link to an article; non-breaking means that the text will not be wrapped onto multiple lines (e.g.
{{nbl|Heroes|Article about ''Heroes''}}
returns Article about Heroes; "Article about Heroes" will not wrap onto multiple lines if it cannot fit on one line; it will remain entirely on one line)
Boilerplate
These templates add a boilerplate notice that usually goes at the top of an article. The intention is to draw immediate attention to something affecting the entire article.
- Template:afd--indicates that the article has been nominated for deletion and may be deleted in the near future
- Template:archivepage--indicates that the page is an archive of past information and should not be modified
- Template:fancreation--indicates that the page is a fan creation and that its information is not canon
- Template:spoiler--indicates that the page contains spoiler information; pages using this template should usually be in the spoiler namespace
- Template:stub--indicates that the information on the page is very incomplete and that the page is intended as a basic placeholder pending the addition of more information
