The Civilian
In chapter 1 of The Civilian, Crazy Tom tells Rachel that her mom wants to meet her at the diner. She arrives, and Leona asks if she can move in with her, and Rachel agrees.
In chapter 2 of The Civilian, Tim tells Rachel that her mom is at the diner. When she arrives, she asks why Leona took a job as a waitress. She tells her she wanted to help pay the rent, and warns her that someone in town manifested a ability, and to be careful.
In chapter 3 of The Civilian, Rachel is talking to Leona when Kelly enters. She glares at Leona, and leaves. Leona warns Rachel not to trust her. Later that day, Rachel returns to the diner and finds Tim there, who asks her out. She spots Marc, and realizes he used his ability on Tim. She accepts, but he changes him mind when she suggest skydiving. She goes to the booth where Leona and Marc are waiting, and he asks her for help finding his cousin, Amber.
In chapter 4 of The Civilian, Leona tells Rachel that LAWR helped relocate evolved humans to Lyneboro. After finding Amber, Rachel reunites her with her cousins Cole and Mykah at the diner. She then speaks to Alex, who tells her he is hunting a former Primatech agent.
