Mark Riccardi is the stunt double of Greg Grunberg on Heroes.
About
Mark Riccardi attended South Plainfield High School and Potomac State College where he was a star quarterback. His breakthrough role in stunts was in the television film Gridlock (1980), and after that he appeared in many television series including Without a Trace, 24, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Voyager. His moviehouse stunt work has included Star Trek Generations (1994), Phenomenon (1996), and Mission Impossible III (2006). He is also the director and producer of a film named Livewire, released in 2007.
Mark has also acted in several films and television series. He had unnamed roles in films including Merchant of Evil (1991), Rich Girl (1991), and Swordfish (2001). In television, Mark played Benny in episode The Tutor (2000) of That's Life, and Mike Getts in episode Trip Box (2003) of Without a Trace. He also had single-episode roles in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), and V.I.P. (2000). Besides his work in front of the camera, Mark Riccardi also directed and produced the film Livewire (2007).
Mark frequently acts as a stunt double for John Travolta and coordinates stunts for many of Travolta's films, including The General's Daughter, Lucky Numbers, A Civil Action, and Battlefield Earth.
Mark worked on The Fall Guy alongside Marcia del Mar.
Trivia
- In 2009, Mark Riccardi won a SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series for his work on Heroes.
