Mick the Ice Guy was an evo entertainer who performed at the Odessa Unity Summit. He was the first victim of Luke and Joanne's crusade against evos.

Character History

Brave New World

On June 13, 2014, Mick the Ice Guy attends the Odessa Unity Summit. He uses his freezing ability to make ice displays. Dennis, Luke, and Joanne Collins all watch his performance.

June 13th, Part One

Mick puts on a small show during the Summit, attracting the attention of a crowd and Dennis. He tries to show Dennis a trick when a darkness covers the Summit, simulating an eclipse and causing his ability to not work. After the explosion, he is trapped under parts of the building, and is rescued by Luke.

June 13th, Part Two

Mick arrives at the Collinses' motel room, wanting to thank Luke in person for saving his life. When Joanne asks who Mick is, Luke tells her that he pulled Mick out of the rubble when looking for Dennis. Joanne is enraged that Mick survived while Dennis did not, and attacks him. Mick defends himself from Joanne by pushing her away, but Luke steps up to defend his wife. Mick grabs Luke's neck and freezes it to disable him. While he does so, Mick insists that he is sorry about Luke's son and that he didn't want to cause any trouble. When Joanne sees Mick freezing Luke, she grabs a pair of scissors and repeatedly stabs Mick in the neck, killing him.

Evolved Human Abilities

Mick possessed the ability of freezing, which allowed him to reduce the temperature of matter. He used his ability to create beautiful ice displays that looked like ice crystals bursting from a small point, and then falling like snow. He could also make snowballs by pouring water into his hand, then rolling it over and freezing it. When attacked by Luke, Mick used his ability offensively by grabbing Luke's neck and starting to freeze it.
