Graphic Novel:Blackout, Part 1
During a hospital-wide blackout, a doctor and nurse tend to an adult patient when he begins to crash. They try first to use a defibrillator; but when they find machine is dead, the nurse suggests that the doctor inject a shot of adrenaline into the patient instead. The nurse welcomes the patient back to "the land of the living."

- In a blog post, Jason Badower said that the likenesses of the New York City doctor and nurse are both based on his friend Nicola.
