About
Quantum Leap is an American television series that was broadcast on NBC from March 1989 to May 1993. It concerned the adventures of Sam Beckett, who would "leap" from person to person in various years. He would actually become the person into whose body he leaped, and everybody around him would see him as the person whose body he inhabited. The only people who saw Sam in his true form were Sam himself and his best friend Al (who appeared only to Sam as a hologram). The innovative show won several Emmys and Golden Globes for performances and technical artistry.

Pass/Fail
Whilst dreaming that he is on trial for all his wrongdoings, Hiro pleads his case to the judge saying that he would find himself "leaping from life to life, putting things right that once went wrong." The prosecutor objects, pointing out that Hiro is merely reciting the opening lines from Quantum Leap.
