Renautas is a global technology organization with the slogan "doing good is good business". Much like Primatech before them, Renautas is a cover agency with a secret agenda of bagging and tagging evos.

At an internship fair at South Western College, Harris approaches Phoebe. He gives her his card and tells her about the company.

Quentin creates a board of clues that includes pictures of Erica Kravid and Harris. The board also has Renautas's logo and a news article that says, "Law Enforcement Partners with Renautas to Track Evos."

After making contact with HeroTruther, HeroTruther agrees to help Quentin infiltrate Renautas to bring them down. Quentin eventually states that Renautas and Primatech are the same and informs HeroTruther that Renautas is digitizing Primatech's files. Believing the proof to be in the files, HeroTruther has Quentin break into Renautas and hack their system to download the files. Quentin successfully downloads files on the Walker System, Coyote Sands and Noah Bennet from Renautas' systems to bring to HeroTruther. To escape, Quentin pretends to be an Evo with pyrokinesis to force a guard not to chase him and uses his key card to get out.

Brave New World

While Noah Bennet is demanding answers from Quentin Frady on why he is following him, Quentin answers that he worked at Renautas. He claims that Renautas secretly owns Primatech. Quentin believes that Renautas is planning something big and that evos are going to be the only ones able to stop Renautas.

Odessa

An electronic sign at the Yamagato Tower reveals that Yamagato is now a Renautas company.

Quentin tells Noah that he was a data-entry clerk at Renautas who was hired to scan and digitize Primatech files which went well until he actually read the files. Quentin tells Noah he believes Renautas was the true culprit behind the bombing of the Odessa Unity Summit though the whole world believes it to be Mohinder Suresh.

To find answers, Noah and Quentin visit the ruins of Primatech in Odessa, Texas where Noah believes that Renautas has an operation on Level 5. Noah breaks into his old office where he retrieves files on the identities and locations of all evos and learns that his daughter was not at the summit and thus did not die there as he believed. As the two leave, they hear gunshots and Noah travels to Level 5 where he finds the people in the control center there slaughtered by Luke and Joanne Collins. Noah finds Agent Stevens barely alive and Stevens explains that Renautas is monetizing evos to "save the world." Renautas has a new system called E.P.I.C to find evos which they need Molly Walker and her powers for. Stevens tells him that E.P.I.C goes online the next day at Renautas Headquarters in Midian, Colorado before dying.

Outside, Noah tells Quentin that Renautas is using powers to develop new technologies. He explains about E.P.I.C which Renautas will use to find evos across the world and tells Quentin they need to get to Midian and rescue Molly.

• According to the company's root directory that Quentin hacks into, some of Renautas's projects and acquisitions include Elysian Tower, Gateway, Midian, Primatech, Project El Dorado, Project EPIC, Project Gemini, and Project Tempus.
• In the video game Gemini, a file shows that Renautas has an HR office in Big Hills, CA 94082. The Quarry is also located in Big Hills, CA. Big Hills is a fictional city.

• The Latin word for "reborn" is renatus. The company's name Renautas is a play on this Latin word.
