A powerful eclipse casts a shadow over all of the heroes that impacts their abilities - Seth Green, Breckin Meyer, Kristen Bell, Brea Grant, Jamie Hector and Blake Shields guest star.
After reuniting Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), Arthur (guest star Robert Forster) orders them to find Claire (Hayden Panettiere) and bring her to him. Matt (Greg Grunberg), Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) team up together and follow Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) to her hometown of Lawrence, Kansas, to discover what she’s been hiding. Meanwhile, Nathan and Peter Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar and Milo Ventimiglia) travel together to Haiti in search of the the only man that can stop their father from destroying the world, the Haitian (Jimmy Jean-Louis). Jack Coleman and Ali Larter also star. Robert Forster also guest stars.

Fan Theories
- The Haitian will meet his brother.
- Peter and Maya will be the only ones immune to the effects of the powerstripping eclipse, since they already lost their powers, because of Arthur. The eclipse will have the opposite effect on Peter and Maya, giving them their abilities back.
- The passing of the eclipse will disable evolved human abilities in a similar way to Arthur's ability, albeit only temporarily. Arthur is aware of this occurrence and aims to maintain his power and/or his team's powers by recreating the formula.
- Claire will die after being shot in this episode or the next.
- The Haitian's brother can restore memories.
- The Haitian's brother can amplify powers, as an opposite to The Haitian.
- The eclipse will restore peoples lost powers.
- The Haitian's brother will restore or even give people powers
- This eclipse will give back Sylar's powers, which he lost due to the Shanti virus, which are exhibited in 2011.
