Talk:Gemini Formula
Caps
I think this article should be called Gemini formula (lowercase formula).--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:16, 24 January 2016 (EST)
Formula is capitalized in the games. Lower case f is wrong. I have a screen cap if you need it. --Snow Leapord (talk) 22:39, 24 January 2016 (EST)
- Ah, I think you are correct then as 'Gemini Formula' would then be a type of brand name for one of the Quarry's formulas and hence a proper name, such that both nouns in the name are capitalized as used. I think that the term is used as a proper name should be noted.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:44, 24 January 2016 (EST)
Name
In Heroes Reborn: Engima it is called Gemini Formula. In Gemini: Heroes Reborn it is called Gemini Matrix. Which name should be used? --Snow Leapord (talk) 11:53, 25 January 2016 (EST)
- Are you sure it is the same formula? If it is a re-branding of the same formula, I think the wiki would use the most recent name with a redirect from the older name to the article and both names noted in the article as used. If it isn't the same formula or it is speculation that they are the same, then I think a separate article for the newer version of the Gemini Formula would be appropriate.--MiamiVolts (talk) 12:06, 25 January 2016 (EST)
- Formula & Matrix are made by the same facility in 2008. Dahlia received TS-14, Cassandra received TK-45, so they both got an injection with the same naming scheme. Formula & Matrix were both made to give people powers they didn't originally have. If the are not the same then they made no effort to do anything different. Formula & Matrix are both used in exact same time period so one name can't be newer than the other.--Snow Leapord (talk) 18:37, 25 January 2016 (EST)
- I guess "Gemini Matrix" is newer in the real world then, since Gemini: Heroes Reborn was released after Heroes Reborn: Enigma, and the term "Gemini Matrix" didn't exist in the first game? So I think the name of this article needs to be changed to Gemini Matrix to follow the production studio's/designer's lead. As an aside, my thought was that it might have been that a person would start with a solution called the matrix (or formula), then you combine it with the DNA of an evolved human to form a formula (or matrix) that is a final product. However, I think you are saying you are sure the Gemini Formula and Gemini Matrix mean the same thing, which is a type of solution that needs to be combined with an evolved human's DNA before it becomes useful to grant the ability of the donor... I'm assuming it's a solution as it's indicated in the article that the final product is an injection.--MiamiVolts (talk) 22:59, 25 January 2016 (EST)

In Gemini: Heroes Reborn a doctor referred to it as Gemini Matrix, Trevor Mason referred to it as Gemini Formula. Formula seems to be the correct name. Only once has it ever been referred to as a Matrix, whatever that is. --Snow Leapord (talk) 18:44, 27 January 2016 (EST)
- Trevor just described the formula as Evo DNA placed in the Gemini Matrix. Gemini Matrix is what the formula is without Evo DNA apparrently. --Snow Leapord (talk) 18:46, 27 January 2016 (EST)
- I think the article should be changed then to state that the Gemini Matrix isn't the same as the Gemini Formula, but only part of it, and that Trevor Mason is the one who referred to the base solution (without the Evo DNA) to be the Gemini Matrix (and note which video game that happened in).--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:04, 27 January 2016 (EST)
I just finished Level 27 in Enigma, they refer to it as Gemini Formula even though no Evo DNA was mixed in it. I think the writers used Formula & Matrix interchangeably. Plus there were 117 vials with Evo DNA mixed laying around between three rooms none of which were hid that Mason could have easily taken. Dahlia only hid the pre-mixed one. --Snow Leapord (talk) 05:29, 28 January 2016 (EST)
PK and WH?
I think it's likely but speculation so far that PK is pyrokinesis... although pyrokinesis is probably the most likely, it could be some other ability...telekinesis is also sometimes referred to as psychokinesis (Wikipedia article link) and then there's also photokinesis (SuperPowerWiki article link), the manipulation of light... phytokinesis (SuperPowerWiki article link), the manipulation of plants... I've some ideas for WH too...--MiamiVolts (talk) 00:49, 26 January 2016 (EST)
Where did you get PK & WH from? --Snow Leapord (talk) 09:25, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- Some vials are labeled PK and others are labeled WH in the image File:Gemini Formula WH and PK.jpg that I think is from one of the games (Enigma or Gemini). RyanGibsonStewart uploaded it, but didn't note which video game.--MiamiVolts (talk) 09:34, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- Ah, spoilers. Haven't finished either game yet. Pic looks like from Enigma to me. --Snow Leapord (talk) 09:47, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- They're from Enigma, and you're right, PK doesn't stand for pyrokinesis. It says it on the page, but I won't spoil it if you're avoiding spoilers... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:11, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- I don't know if I will finish Enigma, the game is extremely frustrating. Gemini I will finish. Plus I love spoilers. --Snow Leapord (talk) 19:10, 26 January 2016 (EST)
- Try using our walkthrough if you get stuck on Enigma. And feel free to start a walkthrough for Gemini when you finish! :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:10, 27 January 2016 (EST)
- I do use the walkthrough. It's the frakkin controls. I want to slightly adjust where I am looking and Dahlia ends up moving five feet. --Snow Leapord (talk) 09:38, 27 January 2016 (EST)
- If looking and motion are together, perhaps try adjusting the sensitivity of your controller. Thanks, RyanGibsonStewart, for updating and noting which game in the article.--MiamiVolts (talk) 09:58, 27 January 2016 (EST)

PK-13
Where did the 13 in PK-13 come from? --Snow Leapord (talk) 08:41, 28 January 2016 (EST)
- It was unlucky? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:30, 28 January 2016 (EST)
- I think Snow Leapord meant where you saw PK-13 in the games... I think the # after the dash refers to the person from whom the Evo DNA was extracted, the #13 person I think might not be in the games yet (not sure if there's any plans for that to happen either).--MiamiVolts (talk) 10:56, 28 January 2016 (EST)
- Miami is right. I never saw/heard mention of any numbers other than TS-14 in Enigma and TK-45 in Gemini. I also haven't collected all the collectibles so I might have missed it there. --Snow Leapord (talk) 12:03, 28 January 2016 (EST)
- Mason says it at the very end of Gemini, right after he first demonstrates his plasma ability. He explains how he injected himself with PK-13 and that's how he escaped the quarry's destruction. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:47, 28 January 2016 (EST)
