Talk:Primatech's files

Mainspace

To record these on the mainspace I suggest we rename what is presently called the primatech files to company files, since they were owned by what was then, the company. In 1963 however, the company did not exist (founded in 1977), but Primatech existed. So, I think we should (as above) rename the present ones to Company files, and name these Primatech files. --mc_hammark 12:11, 2 March 2010 (EST)

  • Abslutely agree. But I think you've wrong a thing, the files saids "personnel" not "personelle". --Tanderix 12:22, 2 March 2010 (EST)
    • Thanks for catching that, I always spell it like that for some reason... I can never figure out why... --mc_hammark 12:24, 2 March 2010 (EST)
      • That sounds fine to me. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:15, 2 March 2010 (EST)
        • How should we do this then? Do you have to move it Ryan, since we're moving this to a page that already exists, or is it a cut 'n' paste job? --mc_hammark 17:40, 4 March 2010 (EST)
          • No cutting and pasting. I believe anybody can move Primatech's files to the Company's files, and then anybody can move this page Primatech's files. I could do it very simply, but I want to give somebody else the opportunity to learn. Of course, if there is an issue, and the redirect needs to be deleted first (which usually only happens when the redirect has been edited), I'd be glad to step in and take care of the move. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:16, 7 March 2010 (EST)

Summaries vs. Quotes

I think the About section needs to be summaries of the content of the files. Then, if we want to include the actual text, we can do so in a different section...but I think we should include summaries under each of the graphic novel names. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:18, 7 March 2010 (EST)

Chris's arrival in NYC

According to Primatech's files, Chris Coolidge "arrived in New York two months prior to the opening of this file." We originally thought that was referring to May, as the events of the novel took place on July 12, 1963. However, according to Chris's AT file, "Coolidge immigrated to New York City in the first week of January, 1963." That means his Primatech file was opened in March 1963. That makes sense, too--he was listed as a person of interest by the NYPD on February 14, 1963, so of course Angela and the gang would be interested in him too by that point. It wasn't until a few months later that the riot broke out and Coolidge was killed. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:47, 28 March 2010 (EDT)

Black Boxes

For some reason, the black box which should cover the location won't work in a message. If someone can fix it that'd be great. --mc_hammark 06:58, 13 April 2010 (EDT)

A Hero's Quest

Do you think we should transcribe also the files found in A Hero's Quest? --Tanderix 13:26, 30 April 2010 (EDT)

  • The thing about those files is that we have a full picture of them which people can read straight from. With these one's they're from all over the place in the GNs. I think it's best to leave them as simply pictures. --mc_hammark 13:36, 30 April 2010 (EDT)
    • A picture doesn't have searchable text. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:33, 1 May 2010 (EDT)
      • True, it doesn't. Maybe we should then. Something came to my attention, we are taking A Petrelli to mean Angela, but couldn't it as easily be Arthur? --mc_hammark 07:14, 2 May 2010 (EDT)
        • Yeah, when I read it I assumed it to be Arthur... --Skullman1392 21:20, 2 May 2010 (EDT)
