Talk:Primatech Research

Like Montecito casino, the history section of this article should be restricted to events which don't take place in one of the locations which have their own article. (Bob's office, the hospital, the two cells). I'm not sure there are any at the moment.--Hardvice (talk) 16:04, 14 November 2007 (EST)

  • Well, at least it's easy to remove the stuff I added. Shoreline83 16:16, 14 November 2007 (EST)
    • Heh. Yup. Incidentally, this is a practice we've kind of gotten away from this season that we really need to clamp down on: Locations should only contain histories for events that don't take place at a Place, and Places should only contain histories for events that don't take place at a sub-Place. Otherwise, the histories become really unwieldy and duplicate each other. Thanks for tracking everything down, though. It's actually really good that this issue arose now before we get too much farther into the season. I have a feeling the Japan and Costa Verde articles are going to need trims, too.--Hardvice (talk) 16:18, 14 November 2007 (EST)

Primatech Research

Isn't Primatech Research the actual name of The Company's facility (Hartsdale, NY)? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:53, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Name change

Shouldn't we call this Primatech Headquarters? Because after all, the director of operations has their office hear, this is where they keep all threats to society, this is where they actually study and test people. I think the other Primatech offices like Primatech Paper Co. are just covers for regional offices and where they simply bag and tag and hold dangerous criminals until they can be transported to the main HQ. And plus, they have rivals now. Shouldn't we mirror Pinehearst and Primatech since they're so inter-connected. Titan3510 10:54, 25 November 2008 (EST)

Rename

Episode text in Truth & Consequences refers to this location as "Primatech Research".--Hardvice (talk) 15:25, 27 November 2007 (EST)

  • Sounds like a reasonable move to me. Plus, it makes for a much easier link, doesn't it? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:53, 13 December 2007 (EST)
I agree. Therequiembellishere 00:58, 14 December 2007 (EST)
  • Yeah, sounds like a reasonable move. Not sure what the holdup is.--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:33, 14 December 2007 (EST)

Badges

Does anybody at Primatech Research wear badges? I'm doing a bit of research for somebody... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:10, 6 June 2008 (EDT)

Level 5

warents own page? I belive it does, it has been metioned a lot and seen so i recon it does, as mutch lesser places have got pages. --Skywalkerrbf 10:00, 22 July 2008 (EDT)

  • I'm going to nudge this for the split nomination. I expanded on Skywalker's suggestion, so mine is essentially his but in the proper format. Seeing as though this will be important and has been featured in recent GN's and the webisode, I think it should be split sometime soon.--Bob (talk) 22:17, 23 August 2008 (EDT)
    • If we do a split, the article should not be a rehashing of all the individual articles we already have about each cell. Really, the only thing an article about Level 5 would cover is stuff that's not already covered in Adam's cell, Clones' cell, Echo DeMille's cell, Brendan's cell, Noah's cell (NY), and Peter's cell. There wouldn't be too much more to the article, would there? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:08, 24 August 2008 (EDT)
      • Read my Level 5 page. I only included information about the level, not the cells. So any activity outside of the cells or in the hallways are in that page.--Bob (talk) 01:34, 24 August 2008 (EDT)
        • Oh yeah, that looks good. I would put "Ex-Occupants" and "Occupants" together to match other articles. If you really wanted to make a distinction, a parenthetical note would suffice, but I don't think you even need that. Everything else looks great--I wouldn't wait to make the move, I would just go ahead with it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:33, 24 August 2008 (EDT)

Level 3?

When's this incinerator from Level 3 been to the facility? I don't recall such a character. --Ciwey 05:36, 27 November 2008 (EST)

It's not a person, it's an incinerator where Angela planned to burn Arthur to ashes after she poisoned him. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 07:03, 27 November 2008 (EST)

  • Oh - d'oh! I was skimming the article and I saw Gael and Donna's name, and automatically assumed it was a list of characters. My bad. --Ciwey 09:39, 27 November 2008 (EST)

Deceased visitors

Why remove the deceased status? Same with Primatech Co., Level 5 and Kirby Plaza building and possibly more. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 09:48, 15 December 2008 (EST)

Arthur

has arthur ever actually been to primatech research. I know we can presume he has, but we have never actually seen him there; is it not speculative to list him as a visitor? --mc_hammark 10:31, 6 December 2009 (EST)

  • He only visited Primatech in Angela's dreams :) AltesUTC CH 10:34, 6 December 2009 (EST)
    • but that means he's not really a visitor and should be taken off the list, shouldn't he? --mc_hammark 10:36, 6 December 2009 (EST)
      • You're right. I first thought he visited Primatech in a GN (Truths, for instance), but he didn't. Let's remove him. AltesUTC CH 10:43, 6 December 2009 (EST)
