Talk:The German's informant

Can't we just say it's Evs? I know we're not 100% sure, but can't we just say it's him?--Piemanmoo 19:41, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
- Yeah, I was wondering about this myself. The intro to the graphic novel confirmed it. If the person worked for Evs, they would have said it and the character wouldn't have been shadowed. Just rename the bastard.--Citizen 19:49, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
- Evs having a shadowed helper is not improbable, but likely imho. The intro. says that Evs warned the German, but not how Evs warned the German (ie. in person or by messenger). As for claiming that if it was just a helper they would be showed, that is speculation. From the interviews, we know that the writers and artists don't all communicate with one another about everything, so for all we know the writer was told to use a mystery person and that the person's identity would be determined later. So then, the artist portrayed the character as they saw fit. Also, the fact that they don't come right out and say Evsdropr in either part 1 or part 2 is suspicious, imho.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:20, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
- They don't tell us because we know the answer already.--Citizen 20:22, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
- Uh, I'm not buying that. If Evs knew the German was captured and had saw him/her, Evs should be a lot more vocal to us now. That isn't happening. Obviously, Evs isn't that scared of the Company finding out who the German talked to.--MiamiVolts (talk) 20:33, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
- Personally I always thought it was Evs... maybe not, but I guess the GN crew/Evs will clear it up sometime soon. -- Friskymuffin - (talk) 09:09, 4 July 2008 (EDT)

RGS's interview
From this: RS: How much briefing did you give the German?
ED: I gave him some headshots of our three agents and the mission files so he would know what the Company knew.
This is exactly what the German's informant gave him at the bank. So, wouldn't these two be the same?--Bob (talk) 01:41, 6 September 2008 (EDT)
- Potentially, but not necessarily as the informant could have been one of Evs Dropper's helpers. More than likely, I think the informant was one of Julien's clones, in which case the two would be the same. Getting confirmation of this is a different matter.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:59, 6 September 2008 (EDT)
- I think they're the same, and I think this article should be merged into the Evs Dropper article. I don't think Evs could have been any more clear without spelling it out for us...But that's just me. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:26, 6 September 2008 (EDT)
