Claire

How come noone can draw Hayden right? The TV guide cover, all of these cards, the GN's- every other person is spot on but noones got Claire.—Riddler 01:25, 12 November 2007 (EST)

  • Really? I've never seen Peter Noone's artwork, so I couldn't say whether he's got Hayden's likeness down or not. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:32, 12 November 2007 (EST)
    • That joke never gets old, does it? :p --Hardvice (talk) 01:52, 12 November 2007 (EST)
      • Noone's told me to stop using the joke, but yet I persist. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:57, 12 November 2007 (EST)
        • Wiseass. XD But seriously, everyone makes her look weird.--Riddler 08:13, 12 November 2007 (EST)
          • I kid, I kid... You're right, a lot of people seem to have a difficult time capturing her likeness. I think Jason Badower has done a pretty nice job...but then again, he excels in likenesses. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:55, 12 November 2007 (EST)
            • The first one above, the face seems guyish. The second one just doesn't look like her imo.--Riddler 19:29, 12 November 2007 (EST)
              • I think Allison Sohn did a pretty good job. --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 19:21, 18 November 2007 (EST)
                • I don't. She nailed Ali, Masi, and Sendhil though.--Riddler 19:24, 18 November 2007 (EST)
                • I agree with you, Heroe. I think Allison does really great likenesses, and I think she really captured Hayden. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:04, 18 November 2007 (EST)
  • I also like Amy Provonost's style. :) --Hero!(talk)(contribs) 23:50, 18 November 2007 (EST)
    • And, she's really sweet. Very friendly. And what a cute style! -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:55, 18 November 2007 (EST)
      • I think she may be the closest one to Hayden's likeness. =P--Riddler 23:56, 18 November 2007 (EST)
        • See, when I look at comic book artists' work, I'm not always looking for great likenesses. I love Katie Cook's work, but she doesn't even attempt likenesses. Nor should she--she does a terrific job being clever and whimsical and capturing the essence of the character without making it photographic. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:17, 19 November 2007 (EST)
          • I understand that, and don't get me wrong, I respect all of these artists, and I get that not all of them are trying for likenesses. But many of these artists have people like Sendhil, Ali, Masi, Adrian, etc SPOT ON... I just noticed it's common for them all to not capture Hayden too well. It's kind of weird, in my opinion. It's great work nonetheless.--Riddler 00:46, 19 November 2007 (EST)
  • You've gotta be happy with Alexander Buechel, right? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:35, 27 November 2007 (EST)
    • He's the closest yet.--Riddler 22:39, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Artists

  • This list comes from Cat Staggs. I don't know how complete it is, but it's the largest list of artists I've seen. I'm using this list to keep track of artists I've contacted...I guess I'm collecting the cards digitally since I can't really afford to collection actually. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:55, 18 November 2007 (EST)
    • Cynthia Cummens adds some information. Numbers indicate how many cards the artist has done/is doing. Note that some of the numbers might be a little off; some artists included the six that they are allowed to sell on their own, and some did not. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:10, 19 November 2007 (EST)

Noah Albrecht

Hey all. Noah Albrecht gave us a pretty nice shout out on his blog. Also, he's updated a bunch of his images, which you can read about here. I've updated the images we have for him, too--for easy access, here's the link. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:22, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Noah Gray-Cabey

According to this, Noah Gray-Cabey will be doing art for some of the trading cards. I guess somebody liked his work? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 06:09, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Changes approved?

I removed the link for Allison Sohn's Eden trading card.jpg because it is also seen in Allison_Sohn_trading_cards2.jpg and removed the link for Allison Sohn's Niki trading card.jpg as it doesn't have the Heroes logo or the 2 symbols. If anyone has a justified objection, feel free to undo the change
