This is a subtemplate of Template:ArchivePrelinks. It works similar to {{nbl}} except that it generates the source code for a link instead of the actual link. It uses ASCII HTML codes instead of standard characters such that the link is printed as if it were inside a set of pre tags. Note: this template doesn't generate the extra new line characters before and after the link like a pre tag would normally do.
