Ahahaha awesome. You changed the colors between when I hit Preview and when I hit save. Freaked me out for a minute.--Hardvice (talk) 14:52, 3 March 2007 (EST)

  • Colors look great. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:58, 3 March 2007 (EST)
    • Yeah, I like this color, too. It was originally copied from the fansite template so it was very bright. The grey feels appropriate. Plus it had the added benefit of spooking Hardvice. :) (Admin 15:03, 3 March 2007 (EST))

Archives for merged pages

Can the original page link be overridden for pages that don't have the same name (like merged pages)? -Lөvөl 01:04, 11 May 2007 (EDT)

  • I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Do you mean the link that appears under the page title of the archive page, or do you mean the link on the gray flag? I think the answer to the first question is no, you can't change the link back to the original page. As for the link on the gray flag, if you want to override that link it would require a change in the template. I'm not sure I understand what you mean about merged pages either. If a page is moved (like power mimicry was moved to empathic mimicry, then I believe the archive page would stay the original name. It would also have to be manually moved to have any kind of name change or override....Okay, I hope that answered your question somewhere in there, otherwise I've just wasted my breath finger strength. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:13, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
    • I mean the link on the gray bar for pages like Talk:Austin, Talk:Dallas and Talk:Company field leader. -Lөvөl 01:22, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
      • Okay, that's a little easier. It's a small change to this template. I'll take care of that later today when I grab a chance. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 07:14, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
        • I added a link override (once I figured out that the code needs a colon--ugh). If you want a link to a different page, just use the link= variable. Does that solve the problem? — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 09:02, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
          • Yes, thank you. -Lөvөl 11:27, 11 May 2007 (EDT)
