Victim
- What do we consider to be a victim? Does it have to be someone she's killed, someone she's threatened, or even someone she's incidentally hurt? Examples include Linderman's thugs, Hal Sanders, and Micah in that order. Admin
- Sorry I didn't see your note until I've already made a buncha changes. I'm including all of the above. I consider Micah to be a victim. I probably should have put this up for discussion. If anybody has a different thought, I'd be glad to make changes. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:31, 11 December 2006 (EST)
- I think it look great. I can see the point in including links to non-victims like Enhanced strength, but that makes me wonder if maybe we shouldn't call it something else ... or at least move those links to a separate section of the series bar (perhaps with links to Jessica and Niki?)
- Sure, I can change the title (any suggestions?) or just move the links. I can't really think of any other good titles, and I think "victims" is pretty good. But you're right, maybe enhanced strength shouldn't be included. Shall I remove it? - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:01, 11 December 2006 (EST)
- The more I think about it, the more I think it should be included. I'd put links to Enhanced strength, Niki's tape, Niki Sanders, and Jessica Sanders (and maybe even their sections of Theories) on the second line (with the edit link), and label them something different (See Also, maybe. Or Related Links). They definitely give a lot more information relevant to the subject of Jessica's victims.--Hardvice (talk) 15:09, 11 December 2006 (EST)
- Sure! I'll work on that later tonight (I have to get going now). I agree - the series bar would look great divided into 2 sections: one for actual victims (or people), and one for a "See Also" -- that sounds good. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:17, 11 December 2006 (EST)

Thanks!
Thanks for fixing up the spacing issue, Hardvice - it looks great! - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 01:02, 12 December 2006 (EST)
Links to template pages
How does anybody else feel about this? Personally, I don't think template pages are really meant to be used as content pages ... they're more "behind-the-scenes" than actual articles. I'd rather see a "List of Jessica's victims" article and have pages without the bar link to that, rather than to the template page. It just seems too much like we're giving away the magic trick, so to speak. Think of the "list" articles as the series bar's parent ... we can link the bar title to the article.--Hardvice (talk) 13:17, 18 December 2006 (EST)
- Fantastic idea -- and I see you've already started, so I'm a bit late on the draw, but regardless -- nice idea to have list pages. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:38, 18 December 2006 (EST)
Axe it?
- Would anybody be violently opposed to killing this and just going with a category? All of the articles on this series bar already have navbars and the results look kind of clunky. We've got categories for lots of other "series" now (Whitebeard's army, Politics, Medical, and the like), and none of the other "victims" lists gets a series bar. Thoughts?--Hardvice (talk) 00:07, 10 November 2007 (EST)
- This thought was running through my mind yesterday. I wouldn't throw you into a glass cabinet if this was deleted. ;)-- Lost Soul talk contribs 03:47, 10 November 2007 (EST)
- I think we're slowly weaning ourselves off series bars. Isaac's artwork is gone, as is Chandra's research. My next targets are the Company and Linderman (since they're huge and almost every article is listed on both). After that, we're down to the Sylar bar, which doesn't bother me as much, but could probably also go (particularly since everybody has related articles pages now, not just Sylar). Oh wait ... I think I just revealed my evil plan.--Hardvice (talk) 04:24, 10 November 2007 (EST)
- How are you gonna do it? Slice off the template's head, or the good ol' smashing 'em over the head with a brick? :D Yeah... anyway. I think the Company one could possibly stay - seeing as the Company still plays a large part in the show - but Linderman's.... don't think it's totally necessary. And, also, do we keep them as bars, or make them as navs, like, for example, {{Drugs}}?-- Lost Soul talk contribs 04:32, 10 November 2007 (EST)
- If we keep any, I'd like to differentiate them as much from navbars as possible. It looks weird when an article has two navbars, and almost everything has navbars now.--Hardvice (talk) 05:06, 10 November 2007 (EST)
- I don't think there's any need to keep it. A category makes much more sense, but even then, I don't really want to make a category for every one of our victimizers. Honestly, the list of Jessica's victims is sufficient, if you ask me. I believe I created this page way back when we were still finding our footing and figuring out how to best tackle efficient navigation. I believe it served its purpose, has become a bit antiquated, and doesn't need to be replaced by more than a list article. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:52, 28 November 2007 (EST)
