| Acid secretion functions by manufacturing abnormal quantities of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, transporting it through the bloodstream, and secreting the acid through the skin. | None | + Hydrochloric acid is highly corrosive, capable of dissolving flesh and damaging/destroying a variety of other substances.
