Chlorine gas exudation is an active ability. None + Unless Tina was capable of choosing whether or not to exhale chlorine gas, she wouldn't be able to so much as walk down the street without attracting attention (especially since anyone breathing it would suffer ill effects).
+ If Tina couldn't control her ability, then Dennis and Michael would have avoided staying in any enclosed space with her; if they didn't, she would gradually fill the room with chlorine gas, killing anyone who was inside.
+ The same problem would be posed if she tried to use any form of modern transportation.
