Claire and Aging
Considering we know that Adam Monroe doesn't age, and that they have the same power, is that enough to consider the 'Claire cannot age' theory proven? Shane 02:58, 27 November 2007 (EST)
Claire cannot age
- Peter looks slightly older in Five Years Gone despite having Claire's power, though as with Claire the time frame is too short to be certain.
+ This may be because unlike Claire, Peter does not possess regeneration as a core ability: it is only active for him either while Claire is nearby, or while he is consciously keeping it active. Likely, he would not find it necessary to keep it active constantly, and he may not have considered the anti-aging effects of the power.
- Since Claire's power heals damage after it occurs, if it healed the effects of aging, it would reverse all of its effects, "resetting" Peter's age whenever he turned it on. It is very unlikely that he would go five years without activating regeneration.
In Five Years Gone, Peter did not save Claire, and thus probably never met her (Which is why Hiro went back and told Peter to "Save the Cheerleader") so he couldn't have had her power then. Divinedj 19:17, 2 January 2008 (UTC+8)
- He did, because Claire was saved in Five Years Gone. By Peter. At Homecoming. Peter failed to save Claire in String Theory, hence the message. Hope that cleared everything up. --DocM 09:41, 2 January 2008 (EST)
Future Claire
- Should fan theories for exposed-future Claire go on this page or should we create one for Claire Bennet (exposed future)?? - Punx 14:38, 3 December 2008 (EST)
- If you have a theory about the Claire from the exposed future, feel free to make Theory:Claire Bennet (exposed future). -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:58, 8 December 2008 (EST)
Claire and Pregnancy
Would Claire only be able to get pregnant during a total eclipse (or during some other ability-blocking event)? In "normal" conception, a large number of sperm are destroyed on the way to the egg by various factors such as acidity, body temperature, and immune response. Since Claire's ability effectively destroys any invading microbiological entity, would she be incapable of implantation while her ability is active? --MurphysChaos 19:35, 20 December 2009 (EST)
- I'd say Claire's ability would destroy only pathological bacteria, only things that would harm her. I don't think something such as sperm caused infection exists. Intuitive Empath - Talk - Contributions 20:05, 20 December 2009 (EST)
