Reid's ability is the ability to perform various tasks that make water potable, including boiling it, causing minerals to precipitate to the bottom, and removing algae.
Characters
- Reid Cipris possesses this ability synthetically after taking an Evolution shot.
- Arthur Petrelli likely stole it from Reid, as he demonstarted heat generation later. He later lost it during the Epidemic, and Peter likely did not return it to him.
Limits
Reid Cipris
Reid Cipris has demonstrated the ability to boil water, making heat generation a facet of his ability. He has also shown the ability to cause dissolved minerals to precipitate out, and the ability to cause algae to clump together for easy removal.
Arthur Petrelli
Arthur has only been shown to use the heat generation aspect of this ability.
