Evolution is the ability to alter one's body. It is normally used in a similar fashion to adaptation.

Limits

Animal in E.V.O.

This unnamed PC has a fairly high amount of control over his ability. His ability is used only at will, and whenever willed, and he can also change only a certain part of his body, like his jaws, or his tail, or his body in general. However, his options regarding his ability are limited. Although, he was capable of turning into a fish from an presumably simpler form through three million years of presumably unaided evolution--at least, according to Gaia.

Gaia

Gaia seems much better at this ability. She has not changed her own form, but she can change the above guy's form. This shows that users of this ability can not only extend their ability, but that they are vulnerable to this extension. She has also demonstrated the same (Or higher) level of control as the above dude, and is better at it. While said male can be a fish, an amphibian, a dinosaur, a bird, or a mammal, his evolutionary choices are limited to those taxa (Though when a bird, he has dinosaurian, ptersaurian, and dragonian options), and even then, aren't very numerous. Gaia, however, is capable of transferring him between those taxa, and is responsible for the automatic switches between taxa.

Styracosaurus

He has similar limits as Gaia, and is responsible for turning the unnamed dude above into a mammal (An optional choice).

Mystery Dude

He's even more mysterious than the similarly unnamed dude, and has demonstrated a similar level of control over his ability as the above dinosaur. He is responsible for turning him into a bird (Another optional choice).
