Dragon Ball Z

Dragon Ball Z	Heroes
Goku is the main character of Dragon Ball Z. He’s the hero and is known as the best fighter in the universe. He has a pure heart and often gives his rivals a chance to change their ways before killing them off.	Peter Petrelli is the main character of Heroes. He is potentially the most powerful and will become invincible. Charles and Heidi see Peter as compassionate and empathic; Charles sees hope when he looks into Peter's eye. He also believes that Peter's heart has the ability to love unconditionally -- and that he will save the world.
The Z fighters constantly save the world and each fighter has his/her own unique techniques and abilities.	The heroes try to save the world and each hero has his/her unique ability.
Both Cell and Buu absorb other people and become stronger. When Buu absorbs other people, he takes on some of their personality traits and their abilities and attacks.	Sylar absorbs the souls of others and becomes stronger. When he absorbs souls, he takes on their abilities and seemingly a few personality traits.
Future Trunks comes from the future to give Goku a message of warning about the Androids, who caused chaos and destruction in his timeline. They killed tons of people, including all the Z fighters except Future Trunks and Future Gohan. He believes that Goku is the only one who can make a difference.	Future Hiro comes from the future to give Peter a message: "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World." The New York City explosion killed millions of people and heroes, leaving only a few survivors. Almost all the heroes are dead by the end of Five Years Gone. Future Hiro believes that Peter would not fail and that he would save the world and tells him that saving Claire is the only way to prevent "everything".
Future Trunks tells Goku that he will develop a heart disease before the Androids appear and will die, not getting the chance to make a difference. To prevent that from happening, Future Trunks gives Goku a vaccine from his technologically advanced future to save his life so he can help stop the Androids.	Future Hiro tells Peter that he needs to save Claire’s life. Her power will help Peter and will keep him alive. Peter will save the world.
Trunks hangs out with Goten all the time. Trunks is stronger than Goten.	Hiro hangs out with Ando all the time. Hiro is the one with the power and Ando is his trusty sidekick.
Future Trunks time travels and has a sword. He obtained his sword from the legendary hero Tapion. The sword has magical properties and its purpose is to defeat the monster Hildegarn.	Future Hiro time travels and has a sword. His sword was owned by the legendary hero Takezo Kensei. According to the legend, the sword has magical properties. It gives a sense of strength and helps focus abilities. This sword is used to defeat the Exploding Man, who is presumably Peter, and the monster Uluru.
When Future Trunks returns from the present, he discovers that nothing has changed. He later realizes that there are two separate timelines, and that he was unable to save his own, but he was able to save another.	When Future Hiro returns from the present, he discovers that nothing has changed. He later realizes that there are two separate timelines, and that he was unable to save his own, but he was able to save another.
Vegeta explodes in an attempt to defeat the evil Fat Buu. He releases all his energy in one blast and Fat Buu is defeated -- temporarily. Piccolo returns to the explosion site and horrifically sees Fat Buu regenerate after being disintegrated into millions of pieces.	The Exploding Man explodes in the New York City. Linderman presumably wants to use the explosion as a catalyst for good.
Future Trunks' sword is snapped into two by Android 18.	Hiro's sword is snapped into two by Sylar.
Tapion commands Trunks to kill him because the monster Hildegarn is inside him and will kill everyone.	Peter commands Hiro to kill him because he is about to explode.
To prevent Cell from exploding and blowing up the Earth, Goku teleports Cell to King Kai's planet and saves the planet.	Nathan flies Peter into the atmosphere to save New York from the explosion.
Vegeta had an arrogant personality. He cared little about others and cared about himself too much. However, he thought about Bulma, Trunks, and Goku, and made the honorable choice to sacrifice his own life in an attempt to defeat Majin Buu.	Nathan had an arrogant personality. Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger	Heroes
Glenn becomes Frog after Magus casts a spell on him.	Takezo became Kensei (a sword saint) after being taught by the Dragon of Kiso Mountain.
Frog protects the princess.	Kensei protects the princess.
The Masamune is found broken into two pieces. Crono and his friends seek Melchoir, a sword smith who specializes in rare items and weapons, but Melchoir tells them that the Masamune was created from the Dreamstone, a "pretty red rock", that he does not have.	Sylar snaps Hiro's sword into two. Hiro seeks Jittetsu Arms to repair his sword.
The Masamune is actually two entities -- Masa and Mune.	Ando believes that the symbol on Kensei's sword is a combination of two Japanese characters which translate to great talent and godsend.
Tata was thought to be the hero because he found the hero's metal, but the metal belonged to Frog, who was the real hero.	Hiro is a hero.
Marle owns a necklace which, when enchanted, can open mysteriously sealed doors and chests.	The Haitian wears a necklace bearing the Symbol which has a mysterious significance that adds to his aura.
Crono and his friends time travel to the year 2300 and find a devastating future where Lavos erupted in fire and brought chaos the Earth. The few survivors live in hunger and infested domes.	Hiro and Ando time travel to the year 2011 and find a future where the bomb destroyed New York and the few survivors live in fear and hiding.
Lavos fell from the sky, appearing as a red star.	Peter explodes in the sky and first appears as a red star.
Frog saw Cyrus as a hero.	Hiro sees Takezo Kensei as a hero.
