About

ABOUT:

I don't have time for silly little profiles, so I'll keep this terse.

I have a 140 IQ; I'm damn smart and I know it. I say things in such as way as to be clear, logical, and free from passion. Some people believe the way I write is cold, even harsh. This is true; there is little room for art or poetry in logic and mathematics. As such, while it may seem my replies are curt and intended to be rude, I can assure you that nothing is further from the truth. I simply wish to convey a point in a concise, lucid, and accessible manner.

That said, I'm generally very friendly and open to all criticism. I enjoy making fun of life's amusing realities, including myself. This is why me, Mr. All-logic-no-emotion-total-seriousness here has the epitome of unrepressed emotion as his avatar. I fancy the idea of having special abilities and growing strong through adversity. Concordantly, I made an account here because my girlfriend and I enjoy the show "Heroes" and like reading people's ideas on this website, and contributing our own.

Have a good day.

PREDICTIONS:

Why Heroes is now terrible. Short Answer: People with abilities suck as using their powers and are afraid of making simple decisions.

1) Matt Parkman, who's capable of turning soldiers onto each other (Trust and Blood), of placing entire illusions into people's minds (Eris Quod Sum), can't even find a way to get away from a small unit of soldiers closing in on him (Cold Wars)... and yet somehow manages to make himself and his wife and his son appear "invisible" again to a dozen soldiers standing right next to him (I am Sylar).

2) Peter Petrelli can't pull the trigger and kill the person who is hunting him. The claim that "it will get worse" if he kills him is irrelevant, and an assumption at best. First of all, any rational person would understand that killing in self-defense (i.e. killing someone who is hunting you) is morally permissible. No one who knew the whole truth of the situation would have a problem with that. Secondly, I doubt the government could find as ruthless and cold a leader as Danko. More likely the program would get more scrutiny from the government, people who come in and halt the illegal rounding up of people - powered or not - and the entire program would collapse. At worst someone else would take Danko's place, but more likely they would be less hardcore than he is.

3) All the people with abilities demonstrate extremely low reasoning skills, as well as planning skills. Hey, let's meet up right next to the crash site of the plane near all the soldiers. That's genius.

4) Hiro needs to stop whining like a six year old boy who lost a pokeman card.

5) Claire whines too much about wanting to be a Hero. She needs to accept that her ability is a defensive one-not offensive-and stop whining all the time that her life is terrible. "My life is terrible, I can never get sick, I never age, and I pretty much can't die." Fail.
